  1. Agreed! I can't stand 90 degree weather! You can keep it!
  2. I won't be using the rig, but thought somebody from Missouri may need the info. I didn't know it was limited to 3 here.
  3. In Missouri, you're limited to 3 hooked lures per rig. http://mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/only-three-hooked-lures-allowed-alabama-rigs-missouri
  4. Thanks everybody! That little crank was elusive but I finally spotted it just as I was about to give up.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/news/story?id=3625982 SUNRISE, Fla. --There was a lot of bad blood between heavyweights Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock. During Friday's weigh-in at AtlanticBank Center, each man vowed to punish the other. But their battle will have to wait. Shamrock suffered a cut over his left eye during a practice session Friday afternoon. Hours before the bout, the Florida State Athletic Commission determined that Shamrock was unfit to fight. "It appears that he was warming up as he stated, rolling over and received a head butt, which resulted in a laceration over his eye," said Dr. Allan Fields of the Florida State Athletic Commission. "He received six sutures in the eyebrow. "He explained that he wanted to fight; however for his safety, we have rules. Anyone with a recent laceration cannot go participate in a fight." The hostility between Slice and Shamrock reached the boiling point during Friday's weigh-in. While posing for the traditional stare down, Slice turned his back to Shamrock. Angered by the gesture, Shamrock shoved Slice and the fighters nearly came to blows. All that prevented a full-scale brawl was the quick action of each fighter's entourage, many of whom jumped between the two men. "He turned his back to me at the weigh-in," Shamrock said. "That's disrespectful. I hope they put this fight together again. He deserves to get a beating and I want to give it to him." With Shamrock unable to perform, Seth Petruzelli stepped in and accepted the fight on short notice. Petruzelli was scheduled to face Aaron Rosa in a bout that wouldn't be televised.
  6. That's where I bought all of mine. Cavitrons are the best buzzbait out there!
  7. I don't know that they are actually worth anything to anybody that didn't use them way back when, lol. I figured there were still a few out there somewhere. I just had to have that box when a friend bought one, and I still use it. I've been using it for my senko-type baits but I am looking for a new way to store those....
  8. Lol, I still have my Magnums.
  9. You should buy an assortment of Cavitron buzzbaits. They flat out catch fish!
  10. Cavitrons are the best buzzbaits made (in my opinion). Try em you'll see!
  11. Cavitron Buzzbait or a Spook Can't lose with either
  12. Dry ice is not something you would want potentially ending up in the stomach of a fish.
  13. You could always make your own using the rasterbator http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/
  14. Thats a nice fish! Congrats!
  15. Sounds awesome! Would love to see some pics!
  16. Nice fish! Looks like you had a good time!
  17. Don't forget the bug repellant and at the very least, a cheap rain poncho or trash bag...
  18. Nice fish! What did you catch it on?
  19. Cool video! Looks like a great time.
  20. Same thing around here. I usually avoid the local lake that allows skiers. One day I decided to go at sunrise. I arrived at 6am and there were water skiers already out there! lol
  21. Wow! I'd hate to leave the lake on a day like that.
  22. Well, there is no camera man. I used the timer function on my camera. Have to when I'm alone. I appreciate all the help guys. I'm a bit disappointed as these are definitely the biggest bass I've ever caught and I don't know what either of them weigh. I thought the Xtools scale would be a good mid-priced scale. I will do some extensive testing of the scale, but I'm not expecting positive results. I'm 6' tall and If my bathroom scale is correct I weigh 240 lbs if that helps with the perspective. On the bright side, I had a great time catching them and it's good to know that both of these fish are back in the water getting even larger day by day. BTW- both fish were caught on a white buzzbait. The first one on a Strike King and the second on a Cavitron.
  23. Lol, I guess it's time to buy a Boga. Thanks for your help.
