    Welcome to BR! 8-)
  2. Paca Chunks are great jig trailers, they have awesome action. If you don't mind ordering online, try some Karu Finesse Jigs. They are great jigs, and you are supporting a BR sponsor. 8-)
  3. Ok, that's what I figured. Thanks.
  4. Wow, 4-16 feet. So I only need one crankbait to fish the whole lake! But seriously, all of the models can't really have that big of a depth range can they?
  5. Suffix Elite, 10 lb, clear. 8-)
  6. X2 Perhaps if they wouldn't show the d**n gopher every time. It's as bad as the football broadcasts and that d**n robot. I hate that robot! I was glad when the terminator beat it up during the super bowl. 8-)
  7. The only technique I don't think you need sensitivity for is topwater fishing. JMHO
  8. This should help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1199742382/0
  9. Nope. I've found their lips to be more durable than other brands.
  10. Specifically the SR05, SR07, and SR08 models. Also, do they have rattles?
  11. Get some spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, top water lures, shallow cranks, a ton of soft plastics, and jigs and you will be ready to go!

  13. Looks like they make some nice fly rods. http://www.abelreels.com/pages/rods.htm
  14. I decided to head out to a local pond today to try out my new LC Sammmy 100 that I bought at Dick's a few days ago. I didn't expect to catch anything, and left the camera at home. Anyway, I got there at about 11:30 and started throwing the sammy. On about my 6th or 7th cast, a bass blew up on it. I was completely surprised, (the water was in the high 40's or low 50's) and even more surprised when I got a look at her. Her belly was full of eggs. I bet she went about 2.5 lbs, (I didn't bring the scale either) a very good fish for this dink filled pond. About 45 minutes had passed and I had gone around the whole pond. I was back at were I started, still casting the sammy. All of the sudden, a huge bass blew up on the bait, with it's head coming all the way out of the water, but she missed it. I immedietly casted back to the same spot and she blew up on it again. This time I had her... for a minute. She jumped and shook her head violently, and the hooks came free. This was the second time I had encountered this fish, a 7 pounder that had been put in the pond last year. That fish always gets away from me. Oh well, get her next time. :
  15. I have never used one, but alot of guys on here love Shimano Crucials. Maybe you should add them to your list to check out.
  16. Never caught a smallie, so I will say Shellcracker. A 1 lb+ shellcracker on a UL rod with 4 pound line is quite a fight.
  17. Everyone is going bonkers over the sexy shad colored baits just because KVD won a couple tournaments on them last year...
  18. "when you are fishing a lake and want to catch the biggest fish in the lake, what lures do you throw?" A jig.

    Very nice!
  20. Apperently Cabelas only carries the Baby Small Fry Crappie. They carry normal Small Fry Crappie at *** .com (remove spaces)
  21. :-? There are two 3" 3/8 oz models.
  22. I would try the Rage Tails if they would come out with a PB & J color.... :-/
  23. But watch out for them when they're on those Rascal scooters, those can really fly! ;D

That is a good looking bass. Nice job Red!
  25. I wash my hands with lake water right before my first cast.
