  2. I recently purchased a 1/4 ounce chartruse and white cavitron at dick's last week. I've fished it a 3 times and caught 3+ fish each outing. It is my favorite buzzbait by far.

    Finally.
  4. The callisto was the first bc I ever owned. It is good for around 35 bucks, and can take a beating. I fished it in fresh and salt, and it kept on going. It's not super smooth or super light or anything, but it's a dependable real at a decent price.
  5. All I can say is WOW. That thing is over a pound heavier than the world record steelhead.
  6. I'm jealous. I wish there were some smallmouth around here. I have never even caught one. :'(
  7. Which rod series do you believe performs better? I know G loomis is a great brand, but are the GL2s really as good as the avids? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  8. I thought it was winds from the north, fishermen go forth? :-?
  9. Ok, so I have decided to purchase a shimano curado. I was just looking at them on basspro.com and noticed that some models have 1 more bearing than others. However, they are a couple ounces heavier as well. So my questions are, does the extra bearing make a noticable diffence? How about the extra ounces?
  10. Thanks guys. I think I will get the loomis and the curado. Who knows, I might even get the chronarch instead.
  11. hello all, I have been looking around for a while, and finally decided to make my first post. I will be going to bass pro shops in January. I will have about $500 to spend there, and have been considering two options. At first I wanted to get 3 St croix premiers, 2 baitcasting, and 1 spinning. I also was going to get another abu revo s and an abu 500alb spinning reel. Then I decided to get the falcon lowriders unstead of the premiers. Now, I am considering a shimano curado and a G Loomis IMX baitcasting combo. I just can make up my mind! Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
