The Rage Tail Toad is the way to go in my book. It always produces no matter where I fish.
  2. Andrew, you should get a Quantico MCB fishing permit and fish the ponds and lakes on base, they don't get much pressure.
  3. Nice pictures Kevin, thanks for sharing. It looks like you had a good time.
  4. Congrats on catching your first smallie.
  5. Jay, you and I will still squeeze in a fishing trip once in a while when time permits.
  6. Thats a nice hawg you got there.
  7. I haven't fished down there but to the forum.
  8. I just want to say thank you to Vekol for donating some videos for this cause. If anyone else wants to help out just let me know. I am hoping to get all of my videos transferred from Tivo to DVDs by mid to late next week and then I will be mailing the packages. I will also be including some bass magazines and snacks for Shannon and his unit. I have also decided to help out one other soldier in Irag, his name is Joe (BassinSoldier on the forum). I am providing the same videos, bass magazines and snacks to him and his unit. I would really appreciate any help that you guys can provide.
  9. Jay, I had a blast on the wading trip and I am glad we did well. It was cool seeing you pull in those nice smallies. Next time we know a good spot to pull them out of. It is not going to be the same fishing without you. I can hardly wait till your future son gets old enough where the three of us can go out fishing.
  10. Thats a nice hawg you got there.
  11. I already bought a fishing rod for him months ago.
  12. No you just need to buy a Quantico fishing permit. You will need to show them your license when you purchase your fishing permit.
  13. That is a nice looking hawg you got there.
  14. I have caught a 5.5lb LMB and a 6.5lb LMB this year.
  15. The rockfish/strippers run all the way up into the Occoquan River and the Belmont Bay area. That is as far north as I have caught them. This area is the Woodbridge, VA.
  16. You might try getting a fishing permit for Quantico Marine Corp Base and fish some of their ponds, lakes and rivers. Quite a few of them are peaceful and are in beautiful settings and you will not see many people out there at all. You can buy a fishing permit at the entrance to Quantico (near the FBI Academy) exit 148 off of route 95. Go to the building on the left before the security checkpoint, the permits are $10 for one year. to the forum.
  17. Belmont Bay at the mouth of the Occoquan river has some good bass fishing if you fish the grass mats and pads. I am talking about the area over near the Fairfax Yacht Club.
  18. They do it because they can. No one is going to tell the NFL what they can and can't do.
  19. to the forum
  20. If you are looking into having gas pumps there are a lot of hidden fees if you don't buy an established business. You will need to find a site where you can get town/city/county approvals for the gas station, enviromental concerns come to mind. Also there could be franchise fees to the oil company that is supplying fuel to you. You really need to think this through the up front costs could be quite a bit of money.
  21. Get a trap and use peanuts as bait, it works well I had a similar problem and trapped them, released them and sealed up the entry point. I have not had any problems since.
  22. Now thats funny.

No the Jets will still loose both games to the Pats this season. Mangina (excuse me, Mangini) is not going to beat the Pats this season.
