  1. Has anyone night fished the tidal Potomac? I am talking about the bays (Neabsco, Quantico, Powells, Aquia etc.) off of the main river. I am thinking about giving it a shot and was just wondering if anyone has had luck night fishing these areas.
  2. I had a similar problem and mine turned out to be a combination of fouled plugse and air trapped in the fuel lines in the motor next to the carbs. My Evinrude has a bleeder valve and I got the air out and it runs fine now.
  3. I hear you. Sometimes when I see a huge explosion I react to quickly and as a result I loose the fish. I may also be loosing some fish due to the pads and heavy hydrilla mats that I fish. The reason I say that is some of them do fight for a while before I loose them. The bottom line is I still catch a lot of bass top water using the ragetail toads.
  4. My friends and family stated they could tell a difference after the calibration, they said the picture quality improved quite a bit. I only say this because they tried to talk me out of buying my Sony Bravia LCD TV.
  5. Now that is funny, I almost fell out of my chair laughing when the picture came up since the topic was new PB.
  6. Doesn't own a scale or tape measure.
  7. The warranty on plasma TVs is only for 10,000 hours so that would be one concern. The second concern is that they need to be calibrated when they are installed to get the best possible picture and that costs around $100. I have friends and family members that own them and told me this. They also tell me they have no regrets and that they love the quality of the picture.

I came home today from work took my dog, a miniature pinscher named Brewski out to do his thing and he stepped on a bee. I have never heard a dog cry so loud in my life. Well his paw started swelling so I knew this was going to hurt me now as well. I called the vet, they wanted to see him right away since he is a small dog. When all was said and done, he got two shots, one for swelling and one for pain. Then I really felt the pain, they handed me a bill for $100, man that hurt so much I almost cried. But then I remembered he was one of my fishing buddies so the pain didn't last to long.
  9. I bring them back quickly, I don't know that I would say I burn it back in. Are you sure you have the bait rigged right? If it is rigged worng it will not come top water that easily. Check out www.ragetail.com for pictures of how to rig the shad and their other baits.
  10. Give it some time, they will hit the ragetail. I felt the same way at first but now I am tearing it up with these plastics.
  11. to the forum. Watch out that bait monkey can get out of control and steal all of you money.
  12. Congrats to your daughter and nice picture, thanks for sharing.
  13. Sorry to hear that you lost your PB. I lost mine last weekend when he threw my spinnerbait so I feel your pain. Just go back there and go get him.
  14. It could be unburned oil on the motor. My 25hp Evinrude some times has unburned oil on it (on the lower unit). I wipe down my motor each time I am done using it and I have not seen the problem since I started wiping it down.
  15. There is an easy way to correct problems with the delivery of mail from the USPS. I was told by a postal carrier that I know if you are having problems and they are not getting it addressed to your satisfaction then call your congressman's office and file a complaint. The USPS does not want to let problems get to this level since they can get asked to come to Capital Hill to defend the problems and their service that they provide. I recently contacted my congressman because I found my mail down at the end of my street in someone's lawn (I have a locking mailbox) which is due to the mail carrier messing up. I was concerned because one of them was a credit card bill and the envelope had been opened. Needless to say I have to closely monitor my credit report now. I have had mail missing each month for the last six months so they forced me to take it to that level. The day I filed the complaint I had my neighbors mail in my mailbox.
  16. Is Willy Wonkas illigitimate son.
  17. x2 Kent, go big or go home.
  18. Nice looking pair of fish.
  19. Nice looking bass.
  20. I find that there are times when the bass are only biting the tail of the ragetail products. I belive the reason for this is the bass are trying to disable what they think is fleeing bait. Once they disable it they plan to come back to eat it. My hook up ratio is only about 40 to 50 percent but it is the most fun I can have fishing. I love the top water explosions, it is an addiction to me as this is how I am spending the majority of my time fishing lately. I love the ragetail products because it always help me find the fish. I keep a second rod set to follow up with another bait in case they miss the ragetail.
  21. I loose more than I catch but that is because of fishing in the pads and hydrilla mats. I have had some run upside down but a stop, jerk and retrieve when I notice it corrects the problem. The newer toads don't seem to have that problem, don't know why.
  22. Try using a weighted hook
  23. Thanks, I went to the spot I told you about in the pm I sent you. The one that we need to go to in my canoe.
  24. Here is another one.
