  1. Nice work, the lures look great. Did you use an airbrush to paint them?
  2. I say go fishing. It has rained at least 4 times a week for the last few months here in Northern Virginia. I am not letting the rain stop me from enjoying my time fishing. I go out before it rains, during the rain and after the rain.

  5. Here is mine, nothing fancy 16 foot Lowe V-Hull.
  6. Good job today Jay. You are going to have to take me with you to this pond one day. It looks like you found one nice fishing hole. You need to go back and get the 4+ pounder.

  10. Good story, congrats on the new PB.
  11. I could also use some mojo down in Virginia. Pretty awesome that KVD did that.
  12. Jay, I say we hit the pond and then we have two options after that if the bite is slow at the first pond. The first option would be to fish another pond on base, the second is launch at Chopawamsic Bay from the OCS ramp. Here is a list of what is in Chopawamsic Bay: Carp, catfish, largemouth bass, white and yellow perch, bluegill, shad, herring, and striped bass.
  13. I agree, it is a buyers market now with the high gas prices. Low ball them on the offer and wait for them to counter offer. I would not pay more than $9000 for the boat.
  14. I hear you, the 4th of July weekend will be fun to watch, I will bring my camera to take pictures that weekend. I will post any pictures I take in this thread.
  15. I am 45.
  16. I don't get it. Is your dad charging you to go fishing with him? I take my son out fishing all the time and I have never asked him to pay for anything. I even purchase extra lures that I like so he can have some for his tacklebox too. Oh yeah to the forum.

  18. That was a cool video. How do you know it was not a real catch? These were minor league teams playing ball not the pros.
  19. I am not a pro, but I have remodeled quite a few homes and as a result I have installed and repaired a lot of drywall in the last 25 years. I had similar problems in my current home so I cut the tape where the nail head is popping out, removed the nail and then placed a screw nearby it and then covered the area with mud and it has always worked out well. I have done entire seams this way and they look good and you can not tell that a repair was done. I hope this helps.
  20. Looks good so far, I am looking forward to seeing the completed project.
  21. Jay, I feel like I have taken the title away from you because my last four outings have all been dink fests.
