  1. Here is the third fish.
  2. Here is the second fish.
  3. My friend and I went fishing at the Quantico Marine Corp Base. I caught a few lmbs (two 1lb and one 2lb). My friend also caught one 1lb and one 2lb. This place is a little off the beaten path and is not always open for fishing. I have attached the pictures below, sorry about the quality, I used my cell phone to take them. The first two were caught using a chatterfrog and the third one was caught using a Manns -1. This location is a trophy fish managed and I will be headed back to hopefully catch one of them. You need to purchase a base permit to fish at these lakes and ponds but it's worth it, they all have some nice bass in them. A young kid pulled out a 7.9lb lmb a couple of weeks ago. Here is the first fish.
  4. to the forum, I agree with Kent aka roadwarrior, your best thing to do would be to hire a guide.
  5. Good luck in your quest but I don't see it happening. You are better off to notify the game wardens of the location where the offenses are taking place and let them handle it.
  6. Nice Hawg
  7. Nice hawg, I think it looks to be around 4.5 to 5 pounds.
  8. It looks like you folks had a nice day. Those are some nice looking bass, I love the sign.

  11. I still don't know what I would choose but I have a problem with what I read about the replicas. The problem I have with the replicas after reading the comparison is as follows. "The replica producers must obtain (and kill) a large number of fish to have different mold sizes available. The meat is usually wasted in producing the molds." So what is the real difference if someone chooses to keep their bass over having a replica made? Big fish still die in order to make these molds.
  12. Those are some nice looking bass.
  13. I bought a Sears Diehard deep cycle marine battery this year and I am real happy with it.
  14. Push Fedex and make them pay for the replacement. Escalate the problem if need be until you get it resolved properly. They should pay the cost for the replacement or replacement parts.
  15. The parade is scheduled in Beantown tomorrow for the World Champion Boston Celtics.
  16. Good work basser89, those are some nice looking bass. I need to get up that way to fish.
  17. Have you looked into Kerr Lake?
  18. The Celtics are going to be World Champions tonight!!!! Paul Peirce MVP
  19. There is a launch area at the dam.
  20. Sounds like you guys had a good time. That really stinks if a lot of the fish are being taken out of this lake. I know I hooked into one real nice one (3-4lbs) down at the first point on the left when you head toward the dam. He violently struck my lipless crank and then hit the boat hard with the bait in his mouth. When I went to pull back to keep him from going under the boat he broke free.
  21. That actually is a chain pickerel.
  22. I can't help but good luck in your search.
  23. I usually don't catch a lot (5 or 6) but I believe that is because I am using large baits and attempting to catch the larger bass. If I down sized some I am sure I could put up some good numbers.
