These are my go to baits. I was hooking up with a lot of LMBs when I used these last year and I know I will again this year. I had my best day when I used the swim senkos, 10 good size (keepers) LMBs in a matter of a couple of hours. This is a must have for anyone that wants to catch LMBs.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I need to get more info on the actual tournament now. The Assistant Service Manager at Fitzgerald Toyota told me about this tournament, he fishes it each year and said I should fish it.

I work in an IT department for a county school system in Virginia. I work because I have to , it pays the bills and allows me to have my hobbies. I would much rather be fishing 365 days a year than working for a living. The way I figure it I have 22 more years of work left before I can be fishing every day.

Bobby, I bought some of the evolution jigs and I guess I opened up a hornets nest when I asked others on this forum about them. I am really looking forward to using the jigs and I think I will be happy with them, they stand up nice so you get a good presentation. Some members have emailed me pictures of some nice size LMBs that they caught using these jigs and hope to be able to post similar pictures soon. Has anyone fished Piney Run? I am thinking about fishing a tournament here at the end of March. What is the lake like? Any structure or boat docks?

I fish all over, my main launch point is at Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge, VA. I am thinking of tryig a few lakes in Maryland and West Virginia this year as well. I might even head up to Pennsylvania for some smallie fishing.

Cool pictures guys. If I ever game my dog my rod he would immediately start chewing it up. I tried taking my dog out fishing with me once and since he is a lap dog all he wanted to do was be held. Because he is like that I will not take him out with me.

I can smell the stink all the way up here in northern Virginia. It smells like another gimmick.

Your son who also loves to bass fish tells you that you have a problem because you are always buying fishing gear even though the tackle box is full.

Just this week alone he got me for two rods (1 7ft med, 1 7ft mh), one baitcasting reel, custom poured worms, evolution jigs, stren line and some other plastics. I have to find a way to keep him out of my pockets as I am going broke.
