On-line poker ?
I'm on at PokerStars I have .10 in my real money account I enjoy playing for play money though. I'll usually have 2 tables going, while I browse the internet. In fact, I'm following Humberto Brenes right now in a World Series of Online Poker event. Nice to have a 21" monitor running 1600x1200 pixels ;D Who knows, I've probably lost a whole stack of chips to you!

bass tracker storage question
Funny you mention that. I was at the Tracker place picking up my boat after the 20 hour service, and the Sales Manager asked me how I liked my PT170. I told him that I was disappointed in the lack of storage on the bow because of the foam. My uncles 1980's Tracker has gobs of storage! He said that the new coast guard regs require all of that foam, and it has to be there when it's sold, but that I can modify it in any way I want when I get it home. Don't know if that's the whole truth, but it's what he told me. For what it's worth...

Wheeler/Wilson any changes yet???
I'm getting geared up to start targeting smallies in Pickwick. The water temp was still 86 last week, but I'm sure it's down a few degrees by now. I'll be out tomorrow and probably Tuesday, and I'll report back with some water temps, and hopefully pics of monster smallies! I don't know if I'll be fishing Wilson too much this winter... Good luck if you head out, and let us know how it goes!

Tackle/worm bags
I group by type too. I'll have between 5 and 15 packages in each category, maybe 6 or 7 categories, and I don't have too much trouble finding what I need. Of course, whatever is rigged up I will have that pack on the deck with me for quick access.

NEED MORE SPEED!!
I don't think you're going to get enough of a performance gain to justify the cost of a new prop, unless what you've got is waaaaaay off base. How fast are you running? I have a 17' tracker too, and it's max rated for 50hp, and I have a 4 stroke 40 on it doing 32.5 GPS under ideal conditions. I get 28-30 most of the time, since I'll just trim it all the way down and go, since Wilson tends to be choppy more often than not.

Question
If a tree falls in the woods, does it... ...wait... ....what?

Tackle/worm bags
That looks to be a nice product. Could be handy if you move your lures around alot, or fish from other people's boats. I've fiddled around with different soft plastic storage solutions, and for me the gallon sized zippered freezer bags are ideal. I group them into categories, and leave them in their original packaging. The bags have a white space to label them, are tough, just the right size, waterproof, and come 15 for 2 bucks!

New PB, not sure of exact weight
There isn't much that can compare to the feeling you get right after landing a biggun. Hands trembling, fumbling around, even when there's nothing on the line!

lost alot of lures
They say if you're not getting hung up, you're not fishing where the fish are! You must be fishing some gnarly stuff to be losing jigs. Keep after 'em!

Some fat bronzebacks
Nice! Nothing like smallies in current!

Rapala DT cranks
Add me to the list of happy DT owners. None of my 30+ DT cranks have damage. (went nuts when bps had a sale on them)

How much does this bass weigh?
Low 4's. For sure

Unusual Catches
Back when I still fished from a canoe with a trolling motor, my buddy and I were headed in after a tough day, and his wife calls him. He has his rattle trap dangling just ABOVE the water, and a white bass jumps up and nails it. Some guys have all the luck...

Trailor hooks?
If you're losing your trailer hook with the surgical tubing, you may be doing it wrong. Place the eye of the hook INTO the tubing, and puncture the side of the tube wall, then through the eye, then punch out the other side of the tube. This allows you to position the trailer straight back inline with the main hook so it's not flopping all around. It will hold whatever position you put it in. It's actually VERY tough to get the hook to come back off this way because the tubing won't want to go back over the barb... I can try to post pictures if I wasn't too clear. Just let me know...

Where where you 6 years ago on this day
I was sitting in class in college wondering where my professor was. He came in later with the news, and like most, didn't realize the severity until the second plane hit. I just remember going home and being sick to my stomach.

7" vs. 10" Worms
I've had luck on Guntersville with a 10" worm. 5/0 EWG hook works fine, but I have some 7/0 Owner hooks in the box just in case.

For college football fans.
Ugh, I'm so tired of those houndstooth baseball caps everybody is wearing I could puke. I even witnessed a wedding where the groomsmen were wearing those things with matching vests.

Ignorance isn't alway's a bad thing.....
I use a texas rigged tube to flip the willow grass on Wilson when it's hot. I've also fished it on a jighead letting it freefall down the bluffs on a spinning rod with limited success. But, as it's been said, tubes are primarily dragged along sandy bottoms for smallmouth.

The new magic bait
Wow. I got a Ron Popeil pocket fisherman that could throw that thing a mile! ;D

Would like yalls opinion on this - TM sizing.
I have a 17 foot aluminum boat with a 12v 46lb MotorGuide. It is more than adequate in flat water, but in the current of Pickwick it barely makes headway on full when the current gets going. So, I guess it depends on where you fish.
