  1. <-- My Avatar pic is my last trip to Guntersville. Here's Wilson Lake on the Tenn. River at sunrise. Here's Cypress Creek, which feeds into Pickwick. Here's a pic of a pond at my golf course. My buddy and I caught close to 100 fish that morning, About 10 this size. It was the morning dreams are made of.
  2. I use paca chunk trailers for 1/2oz jigs and larger. Smaller than 1/2 oz I'll use Zoom swimming chunks.
  3. I'm pretty sure you have to be 21 to get into a store that sells those...
  4. I have a pair of Costa Del Mar Fathoms with the Blue Mirror glass lenses. My pro shop is a Costa retailer, and I've not had one complaint from the 30+ pair that we've sold this past year.
  5. How about a tube/brush hog crossover. Fat hollow body, arms, and a skirt with 2 long swimming legs coming out of it?
  6. Bitsy Bugs and Bitsy Flips with swimming chunks do well here. They look fantastic on the fall around bluffs.
  7. That's nearly 100 times as many posts as I have. Looking forward to 10,000 more!
  8. RW, there are 2 tournaments launching from McFarland this weekend. One of them is over 200 boats. You may want to launch from the TVA Rockpile ramp on the Colbert Co. side, the one closest to the dam, if you weren't already planning to launch there. Just a heads up. Water temp was 81 degrees on Pickwick below Wilson dam on Wed morning...
  9. I'm C&R, period. There's nothing wrong with keeping your share, but cleaning fish is too much work for me.
  10. I don't use a trailer. Just a trailer hook.
  11. I snapped some crystal on a hookset a couple of weeks ago. With spinning tackle. It's not my favorite braid, but at least it doesn't make my fingers black like the original Fireline did....
  12. I sure wish there was a way for Auburn to get Jason Campbell back... :'(

    Welcome aboard!
  14. I don't have a pic of my boat. At least not the whole thing. I have an '07 Tracker PT170
  15. Check out this thread from yesterday... http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1190084471 I posted some pics of how I do it, and others describe their method. All of them should work.
  16. you boat sounds like its running dead on how it should. your rpms are pretty much right on so a prop really wont help... maybe a hydrofoil? A foil might help get up faster, but it'd be out of the water at speed if everything is set up correctly anyway.
  17. In my experience, twisting the plastics on the spring that far kind of tears up the nose a little. With the cut down spring, there is plenty left to hold the lure, without reaming a hole in it.
  18. Unreal. 6 pound test. What a catch.
  19. Insect repellent. Lots of insect repellent.
  20. Wow. That's a lot of offshore structure. Any grass there? (don't mean to hijack, sorry)
  21. I see. Once a fish is on, the hook goes wherever it wants, but it all comes down to confidence I suppose. Thanks
  22. I see the pics now. Man, that would have made me sick to my stomach.
  23. Skeet has the worst luck ever. How many times can a man finish second. He truly is a great angler, and now he has something to show for it.
  24. No pic for me... It hasn't been your week man...
  25. Oh, and Welcome!
