Metallica's New Album
The music sounds just ok on the new stuff but James whiny singing has got to stop! Where is the "Master of Puppets" grit? Someone needs to stick him in a room with a bottle of Jack daniels and pack of ciggaretts and tell him "now write a d**n album!"

Energy PT baitcaster
I have one of these and for the current price you can get them for (I think $80 - $90 range) they are a fantastic buy.

Chronarch and Revo Opinions?
i can speak from experience, I own both reels....Chronarch wins, easily...Throws the lighter baits farther, weighs less and functions a lot smoother.

trolling Motor opinions
I have honestly heard a lot of bad things about Bass Pro brand products including the Trolling motors. Thank you very much for all your opinions...really appreciate your time for the input 8-) .....Ive pretty much decided to go for a MK Edge 55#.....Im just not sure if i need a 45" or 52"shaft ? Is the extra 7" needed for something? I have a 17' Basstracker if that even matters

Burned out on Baitcasters....
Here is what i do and i rarely get backlashes: I never touch the brakes...I can never get an understandable description on how to do it and what exactly the brakes are doing so i just trust the default it comes out of the box with ......The cast control knob i use with every lure change, I reel the lure about 2 inches from the top of my rod and i adjust it until the lure can glide down to gently land on the water\ground...Thats it i can cast accurately and throw it a mile and i really dont have to worry about thumbimg it too much at all unless i mistakenly set it too loose, but you can still sense that and know to use your thumb......Good luck, hope it works out for you because i believe you can be much more accurate with a baitcaster as long as its set good

Expensive Mistakes
being an inexperienced boater this year with my first boat I still have a terrible time trailoring my boat when im done.....this past Saturday I had some choppy water pushing me away from the trailer so i came back in with trolling motor on high, everything was lined up great but as i started to lift the TM it caught the bottom of the trailer and ripped the motor right of the bow :-[ (the mount is the only thing damaged though) I wanted to replace it next year with more power so i might just replace the whole thing this year instead of just the mount....No fishin till i figure out what im gonna do :'(

Fish keep breaking my line. Advice needed
Your line should be fine and even with the drag too tight i wouldnt think a 3-4 pound bass would break that...I agree with the other poster to check your rods eyelets with a q-tip....I think your line is getting sliced not snapped.

Whats happening to this pond?
Heys guys, I fish a small pond on my lunch break from work all the time...So far spring has been active...Ive caught a lot of smaller bass in the 12-15" range...Lots of bluegills and Bass swimming around and the pre-spawn started last week with the males on the beds and some big fat females very close by....But I thought it was strange last week when i started seeing some dead bluegill' just laying on the bottom or floating at shore....When i went there yesterday there was dead Bluegill and Crappie all over the place, there was also a stench of urine (?)...A lot of them looked like a fungus or something around their mouths....Didnt see any dead bass but didnt see them swimming around either like i was....The beds were completely abandoned and cant see anything swimming around any longer....I always catch at least a few and this time not a bite. very strange

Girlfriend Complaining About My Fishing...
sounds like a Stage 1 "clinger"......I think you know what needs to be done next because if you try and talk it out she will say she understands and will change.....This is just a trick, she is reeling you in slowly, dont fall for it, she wont change

chronarch 50 mg, stx or zillion
i'd go with the Shimano....I have a Chronarch and an STX, I also have a couple Quantum Energy's....The Shimano is so much smoother and casts much nicer than all of them.

Largemouth or Spot?
how do the pros tell the difference so easily? they could be reeling one in and just get a quick glance and say "oh, its a spot"...What are they looking at to know so quickly?

Light at the end of the tunnel!?
The media feeds on panic all of the time. In the '70s the world was running out of everything; in the '80s inflation was soaring, heading towards 1000% and the Apocalyse was near. Take it all with a grain of salt, we have a very dynamic economy which will correct itself over time. "Extremes" are just that, extremes. 8-) Thank You! Thats what i need to hear...Someone with some kind of positive outlook! all you hear anymore is negativity and its got me shakin in my boots.

Light at the end of the tunnel!?
some kind of analyst's were on the Today show earlier and one said by this time next year it will be $5 a gallon and will not be going down. He said its time americans change their lifestyles, we have had cheap fuel for longer than we should have. Another analyst said we should start stockpiling food!!! but the other guy said we dont need to go that far just yet. Friggin scary :'(
