Most circuits charge a fee to join the association. Most around here charge 25.00 plus entry fee for each tournament. No need to join a club. It's never to late to start; however, you will be way behind in points to qualify for the championship. Google fishing tournaments and check for options in your area or, preferably something half way between your locations to cut the travel down. Good luck, Jack
