  1. I fish most of the same areas during the night that I fish during the day. Might move up to 12-15' depths instead of the 20-30 but it just depends on the moon and the weather. Caught a huge bag last year in 28'. They did nothing until the 2:00am hour and then the feed bag was on until an hour before daylight. Best five went over 28lbs.
  2. Yep, and it's probably gonna get worse before it gets better. I had to call last week. Have not received my May issue of Bass Times and now the June is due.
  3. I have invited him to fish the Skeeter Owner Tournament this weekend with me. Should be fun if I can get him to retie all his braided knots. Lack of attention last trip up there cost him a very large fish. Should be a ton of laughs, will give a report when we get back. Mike, you gonna get that new PB, I guarantee it. Jack
  4. LOL, Since the 2000 National Championship, "Big Game Bob" has not won many "BIG" games since his brother left to coach at Arizona. Neither has his brother.
  5. Typical statement by a non gun owner. Obivious you have never been through a CHL class either.
  6. They certainly could win the south.
  7. What a ridiculous statement.
  8. Yep, we do it a lot in this area. Some produce, some don't.
  9. Down here, if you aren't fishing your planted brush you are not winning. Most have a milk run of brush that they have put out over the years. I have a few myself. No one here considers it cheating. Just because you dump a tree top in the lake doesn't mean you are going to catch fish from it. Some produce, some don't, the ones that do get discovered pretty quickly.
  10. Personally I don't grease the levelwind, I oil it. One drop on each end.
  11. Probably location. lots of areas here that is the only way to get a lure to them.
  12. As of today I have never fished a line with a leader except a c-rig. All others are either braid, flouro, or mono. NO leader.
  13. Sit at the ramp with a camera for lots of laughs. When the sun goes down go out and kick some bass.
  14. Never sweat the ones making comments about you or your boat. they are just donating to the pot. Enjoy spending it.
  15. If you are coming in after June 6 You can ride with me. I will be at the skeeter's Owner tournament on Lake fork that weekend and then I'll be back and ready to go. PM me and I'll send you my phone number. Bring a big wide brimed hat. I'll furnish the ice water and towel. LOL. Jack
  16. i clean mine with Dawn soap . rinse it well. I have lost one fish in the last three years.
  17. Man, second post...Now that's the way to come out swinging.
  18. I am doing quite well with them. Maybe it's where you are fishing them. I catch a lot of large fish on them. Could it be there is a lack of quality fish where you are trying to use them? Or maybe you are fishing them incorrectly. Let us know where, how, and what type of water you are fishing. Which lures are you fishing and what size? If you are trying to force feed a bunch of smaller fish a larger lure that may be a problem. Just thinking out loud. Let us know.
  19. If ya'll want to read the reports from the lake go to: www.falconlaketackle.com Click the link on the left titled : FLT Flash Fishing Reports. Read the may 25th report and several of the others and it will give you the local reports. These people have actually gone into Mexico to rescue several stranded fishermen.
  20. X2, good people and they won't steer you wrong. Good luck
