I fish is some local big money tourneys and if someone got caught cheating, well, it would not be pretty. Us redneck boys from florida did not get a bad reputation for nothing. I have caught a basket before on lake Istokpoga, let the fish go and cut the basket.

The other day the moon was full so an evening bite was expected. Where will the moon be next weekend and when will the bite be on? Can you afford the 3 hrs of run time vs fish time? I would still make the run if I did not have fish closer. Welcome to the forum

As for the smallmouth division...... Well Osbornj2 would have won, that is, if he had actually entered... But since he did not enter and no one else posted a smallmouth, I would have to declare the SMALLMOUTH as the winner..... Next contest will be the SUMMER SLAM. I thinking about a July 1 through August 15 with a twist. Stay tuned for more info...

I start the day with 4-5 baits to try, from top to bottom. Frog, Pop R, shallow crank, rattle trap and jig. Unless I am on fish, I will work through the water column several times a hour.
