Santa came early with twin poles last week. Replaced the old 8' sportsman with twins that are totally wireless. The old one is for sale if anyone is interested.

30/30 would be my choice. They call them "brush guns" for a reason and your pictures look like "brush" to me. I've had Wins and Marlins and they are both quality close range deer guns.

I shoot Tulammo in 55 grain for 23 cents a piece at the range with no problems and decent groups.

Everyday here. 65 pound braid and a 1.5 oz punch weight. It's like a canopied forest. Thick up top and open below. The outside edges within about 5 feet are generally the most productive.

So I opened my present and WOW. Being a fellow hand to hand combat fisherman from Texas, Kale set me up with stuff that I use as well as some stuff I can't wait to try. 3 bags of D bombs, 2 bags of Sweet Beavers, 2 bags of YoDaddys, 1 bottle of spike it, 6 styles of wire tied Jigs (Mikes I think), 2 Storm shallow dive square bills (perfect for Toho), 1 snag proof phat frog (which I always have tied on), Trokar flippin hooks, tungsten punch weights, peg stops, 2 original Bill Lewis rattle traps and a monster Jackall Pompadour. For 2 years now...I don't understand?

In fact, if anyone wants to come to Florida anytime between March and October I can get deals on cabins here http://oakharbor-rv.com/Oak_Harbor/Welcome.html I have a place there and do all the emergency repairs to the sewer and water systems so I get great pricing anytime the snowbirds aren't here. It is on Lake Lowery. Kissimmee and Toho are about 30 min away. An hour to get to the Harris Chain or Istokpoga and less than 2 hours from Okeechobee.

Anytime you and Beckie want to come to Florida. We will put you up at the lake house.

Depends on where and how I'm fishing. My home lake "Lowery", 50 dinks a weekend with a 5 or 8 added in just fun fishing. If I fish Toho or Kissimmee in a tournament, then 8 - 10 fish but the weights are normally way up because of the lake and bait choice. If I fish a 2.5 acre lake I built and stocked 4 years ago then every other fish is over 4 lbs and up to 9 lbs. It is completely dependent on LOCATION.

I teach a lot of people how to fish and always have two scales and a golden rule on the boat for them. When I'm fun fishing I hardly ever even take a picture of a fish under 5 pounds. But on tournament days that's a different story.
