Well, since I did not have the year I was expecting, I just matched Jeff and Dwight's donation. I only had 8 fish over 5 lbs so I just added $144 in donation to even things out. Who's up for a new challenge next year?

I went out at Toho for a couple of hours today before the wind got up. Man was it howling by 12:30 Anyway, managed a 18.5 and a 16.5 and a pickerel. That should put me at 72.5 with 4 fish. Pics coming soon, and maybe a video.

Headed to Toho Monday. I just got the GoPro set up on the back deck. Hopefully there will be some good video of the pigs I catch tomorrow.

Just got the roll bar mount set up on a double seat post rig for a higher vantage point from the rear deck. Filming starts at dawn. Can't wait.

Remember you are not attracting bass, you are attracting bait fish. I think 3-4 clumped in an area of 20' x 20' is the most productive. Teneroc FMA has a lot of these and that seems to be the most productive arrangement.

In 1976 I got a Monark 10' Jon boat with oars. This boat was absolutely unsinkable. I tried many, many times. You could fill it full of water, sit in the middle seat and balance, the sides would just be above the water, start with a dixie cup and you could bail it out in just a few minutes. The next year I got a 1950's, 3 hp Chief outboard with the gas tank in the cowling. From that point it was me and the dog all over Lake Norman. From Skippers to the 150 Marina to the State Park. Those were the parental set boundaries for a 13 year old with a Golden Retriever.

It takes 6" to take off. Crazy.

You are correct sir. Sound waves do NOT transfer between water and air very well. The vibrations from the hull will transfer to the water but not that much better unless you are thumping a big sub woofer. I listen to music most of the time I'm in the boat, at a low level, even during tournaments. Central Fl fish seem to prefer classic rock.

Just got a black 3+ last weekend for my Bday. I've been playing with it and even made a video of stupid crap around the house. The editing software is amazing. I can't wait to get some action footage. I'm not a techie and only spent 10 min working on it with a template. You guys with some tech skill should be making awesome videos in no time.
