  1. What might help us help you is to know what you have now. What kind of fishing you do, either bank or boat or both. The lakes/ponds you are fishing. What part of the country you are in. And your budget for this year for fishing gear. There are extremely knowledgeable people here that are willing to be very specific with help as far as type of rod and reel, line, and terminal tackle recommendations. If you ask about specific brands you are going to get 100 different answers but the principles and purpose of the setups are the same regardless of brand. Remember the more information you give us, the more accurate our help will be. FD

  3. IRS and state corporate taxes are done and paid. County Intangible taxes paid. State licenses renewed. Now personal taxes to be done. I hate everyone right now.
  4. Since I could not care less about the outcome... and the commercials so far are pathetic... the fish bowl may be more exciting.
  5. I actually still have that travel size one in my tool box. It's awesome for fixing a boost tube coupling.
  6. Ok, I'm in again. Taylors thing on May 1st is optional and it's only a scholarship announcement. Nicole will be joining me only if the weather is within the acceptable weather window. Anyway I'm coming regardless.
  7. I'm pretty sure Jeff has one.. he keeps if right beside the Barbie rod he uses all the time.
  8. I use a 7-6 mh with 50 lb braid for frogs. All other top water I use a 7-0 med with 12lb mono. It's tough to do both well with the same rod.
  9. I have owned a fleet (at least 5 at a time) of trucks since 1997 and will say that Ford trucks are by far the most durable overall. Most of mine being deisel 250's or larger. There have been some problems with diesel engines and there are aftermarket fixes for those but the interiors and suspensions are far superior.
  10. Assault Barbie - not nearly as scary now
  11. This thread started with the potential to be locked quickly, but since the boss started it, I thought we could behave. Apparently not.
  12. What kind of weapons system is this guy operating? He probably has a rifle. (stunned look) Ok, it was a high powered rifle. Best line in any recent movie.
  13. I would go with the full featured 7. Luckily for you, WayneP will be along shortly to explain why. He's our resident electronics expert.
  14. Myrtle Beach, SC. June 1985. We (4-18 year old boys) are sitting on the strip, parked, in my 442, top down, "minding our own business". Barney Fife in a cop golf cart comes up and starts flappin his jaws so I politely invite him to mind his own business. 4 hours later, after being introduced to several of Barneys, "friends", getting a tour of the MB Justice complex, and hanging out in a small iron room with some fellas who needed a bath, we were allowed to leave SC. I was told by a very nice man in a blue uniform that "If I ever see you boys again, (spit) you ain't gonna be leavin so soon that time". I'm not exactly sure what that meant but I have not been to back MB since.
  15. Walmart Everstart series 29 deep cycle. The only battery you will ever need and they are cheap.
  16. Curtis lives in BFE Kansas and has no friends...he needs a bunch of emails to keep his mind occupied.
  17. This from the man who is being hunted by a Vietnamese with a ladle......
  18. Yep. A 10 yard pitch that lands quietly in the 8" gap between a seawall and piling is much more impressive than slinging a 3/4 oz Aruka shad 75 yards.
  19. You should Mike, you don't have that many minutes left, and you just wasted 5. Maybe you could ban deak for a few days. This is exactly why I Don't spend much time in the Everything Else forum.
  20. 2007 Triton 20X2 with a 250 Optimax. I fish tournaments on big water and consume probably 20 gal per hour, but I don't run WOT much. The boat tops out WOT around 78 mph (GPS) but I cruise at 60 mph at 3/4 throttle which is fast enough most of the time. FYI I only put 60-70 hours a year on the big motor. I probably put 250 hours on the TM.
  21. If your on the NEW gmail, then it is probably in your promotions tab
  22. I have 2. Not bad but I prefer my Revo's. At $59 they are a great reel.
  23. Your girl has some curves too. They just don't make them with that kind of style anymore. The new Challenger in all black gets close, but not quite.
  24. Mine is Eleanor - 67 Shelby GT 500 Metallic Grey with black
