Enough Truck?
You will probably be fine as long as you are not going that far and are not in a hurry to get there. My son has a 1500 with the V6. Fine with a john boat but granpa's pontoon is a little much to take far. Not so much because of the weight, but the wind resistance over 55 mph.

Is It Me?
I could only watch for a few minutes...I had to go outside and watch the grass grow for some excitement

Your New Lake Tactics!?
I use Navionics. I have the hot maps version on my laptop and the Lakes US app for my phone. It is not compatible with my old garmin GPS but I just write down the coordinates and transfer them into my GPS. This gets me close enough to start searching with my depth finder to find the "spot on the spot"

Establishing A “Rhythm” Pattern As Associated With A Lure’S Presentation
What would happen to the action of a lipless crank if you added weight on the line, like a bullet weight? Will this adversely effect to action? Would it get the bait down to the desired depth?

Toyally Addicted
Welcome aboard. Hopefully that feeling never goes away. I still wake up before my alarm on days I'm going fishing and can't sleep at all the night before a tournament.

To Road Warrior About Megastrike Return

Where Did Everyone Go
It happens every year at this time. All seasons are open and everyone is fishing. They will be back when the leaves change.

Most Bass You've Boated?
I have had two days where we boated over 30 in an hour. Both days there was running water in Lake Kissimmee and they were all in the 1-3 lb range. On the other hand Kissimmee has handed my many, many more blank days with more than 8 hrs on the water. Right place, right time.

Nice Frog Fish Today.
There is nothing more exciting than a big frog fish. Good Job.

Bent Rodders
I would be irritated, but, unless you own the lake, too bad. There are people like that everywhere. I fish Kissimmee a lot. That's 35k acres that looks pretty much the same. It can takes days to find good fish, and like you I try to manage my spots carefully. When one of "my" spots get whacked like that, I just shake my head and go find another one.

New Phone Need App
I finally gave in for several reasons. 1. My largest client does not use the phone anymore, or so it seems. Everything is text or email. 2. I have several teenagers I am trying to keep track of and this seems to be the easiest way to do so.

New Phone Need App
I just got my first smart phone this morning. Not something I was looking forward to, mostly because I just got my old phone figured out. Anyway, it's a droid OS phone by samsung on verizon service. I was looking around for a BR app and could not find one. Is there one available? How do I get it? Am I just a moron? Any help would be appreciated.

Lake Kissimmee
I would go with the heavy near the deeper water. If you have a good chart then you can pick out several good spots to start with.

Lake Kissimmee
Last Sunday it took 28 lbs to get in the money in a local tourney. Flipping outside lines would be my choice for the biguns.

Best Older 20+ Ft. Bass Boat?
I have a 92 Stratos 201 pro. Best investment I ever made. Stable even in the spring winds and 3 ft seas on Kissimmee.

Two Questions...
I would have at least 3 times the depth you plan to be anchoring in. Depending on how much current or wind your are in you can adjust the length of line. And I alway carry at least 2. Because it is our windy season and I have a big boat I have 3. 2 mushrooms and a danforth. As far as a drain. I would go with a cheap bilge pump instead of making a potential leak below the water line.

First Boat; Which One To Go With?
You have nooooooo idea.

First Boat; Which One To Go With?
If I had an 18k budget for a boat, here's what I would do. 03 Stratos 6500 Hummingbird Side Imaging Sonar $2500 Upgrade to a 101 36volt TM $800 Invest in nice inflatable PFD's $400 and give $8000 to bait monkey

Any Mountain Bikers Out There???
I have had that happen a couple of times. They were just real dirty. I ride in the clay a lot and had not cleaned them in a while.

Taylor's New Pb On Fathers Day
So last month she had a new pb of 6 cranking. We started out cranking but no luck. With the rains this week, the lake had come up over a foot so we started flipping around the tree limbs that were freshly under water. That is where she hung this 7 lb 22 inch monster. You can see where her shirt is wet from trying to land a big fish and she got splashed pretty good. That smile is the best fathers day present ever.

Any Mountain Bikers Out There???
I used to do triathalons and had a trek 63 cm road bike. I traded that on a Fisher Opie XL and belong to several clubs in the Tampa/Lakeland area. I spent all day today on a mini excavator with the trail crew building a new trail at Boyette Scrub Preserve. The best trails around here are built in the old phosphate pits. Some of them are SCARY. I mosty ride the intermediate trails but try the black diamonds occasionally and have the scars to prove it. This is one of our local guys. He has great videos of Fla mountain bike trails. http://proedgebiker.com/ This is my favorite trail. It's only 5 min from the house. http://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/loyce-e-harpe-park-carter-road.html As far as the "Bike Monkey" goes. I only have about $600 in the bike but I have spent at least that in a superlite helment, crank bros candy pedals, shoes, ergo grips, gloves, glasses, camel back, etrex gps with handlebar mount, ect,ect,ect...
