I have a 92 Stratos 201 and the steering is about impossible to turn. I use clip for all hard baits and topwaters. I have NEVER had one fail. I bought a package of 50lb clips about 2 years ago and love them. The action on my cranks seems better and I can change in seconds.

If you are going to be in Key West, the closest freshwater is in Cuba. Salt water fishing is the only option within 3 hours that does not require a passport.

I started watching a month or so ago. They had a 1st season marathon. I really like it but it is becoming a little predictable.

I would suggest mudhole.com. They have a lot of good info you can watch online and kits for the beginners That's how I got started.

If you want and can spend that kind of money, knock yourself out. There is only 1 reason I don't do it. I know I'm going to loose at least 1 crankbait every time I go fishing. If I don't loose them in the brushpiles then I break them in half bouncing them off the bridge pilings or docks. Knowing that I only paid a few bucks for them lets me throw them right into the middle of the heavy crap.

It's going to be 40 in the morning. I should probably find a jacket and maybe some shoes tonight. ;D
