Which lakes do you plan to fish? Boat or Bank? Live bait or Artificial? There are over 200 bodies of water in Polk Co and they all fish a little differently.

Most anywhere the water is deeper than 10 ft. We were fishing minnows 8' below a bobber in about 15' of water on Wed and boated over 80 in about 5 hours.

The best thing about this is that you would NOT actually have to fish with Vince, just sign up together. He has been known to have mechanical difficulties (run out of gas) and miss the weigh in.

I just upgraded to a 2000 225 ficht . I could not believe the difference in fuel and oil over my Johnson 200 GT.

As a kid I ran all over lake norman in a 10 ft monarch with a 3 hp chief. Find a good used jon with 10 hp and you are all set.

I have a triton 17.5 aluminum with a 75 merc that is a great boat and is for sale. I bought a bigger boat last summer and need to get rid of it.

And Brett was actually fishing in Lake Kissimmee. I caught bass yesterday on a white/glimmer blue fluke. But I was in the Southport Canal between Cypress and W Toho. This time last year they were killing a frog in the afternoon. I have not had any success with a frog in the last month though. I don't fish E Toho much either so I can't give you any spots but in the last month here is how I have caught them on the Kissimmee Chain. 5-6 ft deep outside grass lines near deep water or a ledge bomber 8a in firetiger strike king series 1 in sexy shad fluke Most of the bites have been after noon.

A couple of us went fishing today for my birthday. All we caught was about 80 spec, 15 bass, 2 brim, and a pickerel. Everything we back except the largest 70 spec. Not a bad birthday. That's 15" adjustable wrench in the pic for size reference.
