  1. Big show what? Craw,worm?
  2. Bingo! You'd think that all possible worse case scenarios would have some sort of preventative measures in place or why. Oh wait they did,but it failed : This is a sick sick situation >
  3. My top baits for places like that for when you just want to see whats in it are in no partricular order: zara puppy 1/8 spinnerbaits 4 inch senko trickworm 1/8 and 1/4 rattle trap small rebel pop-r x-rap #8 (first choice) If i'm pond prowlin these are what I grab first.
  4. Really, and I hate to sound like a broken record here,it's something you'd just have to try in your waters and under different conditions to see what the fish want. They get real funny over spinner blades sometimes, shape, size, color. I like copper in stained green water along with bluegill style skirts with some chart mixed in.
  5. It's coming to Florida people. :
  6. Small river/creek, take you a 1/8 oz white spinnerbait and walk the bank and cover lots of water.Hit all the cover you can and make multiple shots to the good looking spots.Look for any bends.Bends cause a current break behind them. Also hit spots where it shallows up then gets a little deeper. This is one of the quickest and most surefire ways to find out whats in a place like that.
  7. Yum big show paddle worm 10 incher.
  8. I've had it happen as well when I go to hit the post button it goes into maintenance mode. : But what can ya do?
  9. In before the lock.... They are the best knock off I've used so far IMO.Great bait!
  10. They look sweet dude. 8-)
  11. Haven't used many war eagles or the skirts but the two I have used are spot remover and mouse. The mouse is a killer clear water color.
  12. Bull ribbit, buzzbait, larger spook type, large prop bait such as wounded spook, mag torpedo. Also don't overlook a large bladed spinnerbait waked across the surface especially over vegetation. These choices are when the waves are really kicking.
  13. I do all this too as well as use mend-it faithfully. I save an insane amount of money. One more thing as for fixing appendages and such. I take a very slender scrap piece of plastic or just make one with scissors. I then heat the end of it and use it as sort of a welding stick and outline the edges like using a pencil to firmly seal appendages/tails and such on.
  14. I watched it last night, was pretty neat. I get a kick out of the plugs for American Bank though. :
  15. I always thought it was. Either way,the colder it is the thicker the megastrike.
  16. Thats a sick looking bait. I been wanting to get ahold of one myself.
  17. Wow! What a football! Regardless of weight it is a perfect specimen. At least a solid 6 or better.
  18. If it was less than average room temperature it will be harder to squeeze out. Leave it in the sun for a sec and it will come out like melted butter. It is a petroleum jelly based product. As far as it being yellow I really don't think theres a problem. Mine gets a little yellowish sometimes. I think its due to some of the ingredients separating. Mush the tube a little when it is warm and it will mix up fine.
  19. Right, but your rod type, reel, line, and reel settings can play a big part in it too.
  20. Heavy spinnerbait with oversized blades slow rolled on the bottom.
  21. Interesting. I'd be curious to see the action on that with the segmented body.
  22. Silence! I keel you!
  23. Haven't rigged a fluke style bait quite like that before but it is a great way to wacky rig a trickworm. 8-)
  24. Haven't caught anything on it yet, done it a few times, but man oh man you should see that magnum when wacky rigged it just screams eat me! Hook the bait in the upper two thirds, closer to the head, stick the hook through the back and make the point come out the side. The falcon k-wacky weedless hooks fit it pretty good too.
  25. Thats a great pic too! The fish looks bigger than 5lbs LOL. Man I kinda miss that place...
