Agree. It is suited more for a rippin retrieve than a twitching.

Seven Inch Senko
Now you've put the idea in my head, I will have to try the 7". Almost all of my bigger fish this year were caught on 6" Stick-os. I have not used 7" because they are huge. I have been afraid of frightening the smaller fish. In muddy water the huge bait will displace more water and could work well. That said though I really don't like the 7 inchers and in my opinion they are just too fat, it isn't the length that gets me. I don't seem to have any problems catching them on the 6 inchers and they do seem to be a better bait for getting kicker fish. You may experience SLIGHTLY less bites on the six. I would use black and blue or if your using something the the Yum dingers the black/blue laminate works very well. As far as other worms to use I am a very big fan of 10 inch Yum ribbons. Other good suggestions from me would be full sized brush hogs in black and blue, junebug, and key lime pie. Also baby and full sized paca craws in dark colors(there are many nice ones) and another bright color called summer craw which is a chart/ pumkin mix. These baits have produced very well in dirty water for me.

I have barely used mine yet since I am always nonstop throwing a devils horse or spook but can honestly say that the action and sound is superb. The props are already pre-tuned for the desired sound and spin very easily. It also has a very nice profile not too big or too small.

Frogs (interesting)
Yeah for the designer ones...hes's also supposed to have some available in the future that are plain and you can detail them yourself for aroung 10 bucks. 8-) I was the one who originally posted them and it basically turned into a discussion on whether bass actually eat frogs and/or tadpoles. ;D

whats your score?
Right.I had to think about that one for a sec. ;D Page one doesn't start on the left hand side.

whats your score?
x2 lol, and I also got a 19 score. I never really took the time to observe a campbells soup label either. :

lure testing?
Sometimes I run the gamut when the bite is slow just trying to find something that works.Remember though that when the bite is really on it is a good chance to play with some new baits or techniques as you can gain confidence in them and really see if the fish will actually hit them. I get in different moods when fishing though and sometimes won't change baits all day and just focus on my presentations with them only.Casting angles, speed, depth, cadence is usually more important to figure out first then try to switch baits to dial it in.

manns ''weasel''
My opinion is it's total junk! I was very dissapointed in this lure as I had very high hopes for it after watching the video. Mine wouldn't even wobble or swim at all whatsoever.Water intake was NOT the issue with it either as that would inhibit the action considerably I imagine. It just had a total lack of action. I was basically thinking that this lure would act similar to a 1- crank except weedless. It was more like dragging a piece of dead scum through the water. I only bought one.It was a dud.Maybe I had a bad one or something, but I won't buy another to find out.

Bedding Bass; Whats your best way to catch-em
You forgot jigs.I guess a lot of anglers use them for bedding, preferrably in white. I haven't though yet. In my short bed fishing experience I have found that t rigged craws and brush hogs work very well and dropshots with minnow baits or small swimbaits on them too. Sometimes a rattle works very well too.

Any body catching anything in florida
Have been utterly loading the boat at a phosphate pit in Sarasota and everywhere else I fish for the last 2 weeks or so. The fish are very fat, eating bait like crazy, and are on fall patterns finally. We had all that late year heat this year and the water is still warm. I got one 9.5 lbs in sarasota and my buddy got an 8.2 and a 7.5. All on cranks in a 3 day stretch, respectively.

Plastic Worms
x2, and my favorite way is whichever way the fish are eating it best on a particular day.

Your biggest fish.
^That fish is broad and looks to be about that size. My biggest was on a chart purple back rapala glass fat rap in the small size believe it or not. 27 inch length and 20.5 girth. No scale,do the math on it.The amazing thing was it was kind of a fluke of a catch. It was post frontal and very cold that day and I wasn't getting bit by anything. Was getting pretty frustrated trying to position my jonboat on a grassline with the 20 mph north winds. I kept dragging grass with my bait then got mad and threw the lure as hard as I could out into the open water and started burning it back like a crazyman just to relieve some frustration, then she hit.It felt like a sack of potatoes and the bait just stopped dead in it's tracks.First thing I thought was it's a catfish so I got a little mad again and just started horsing like crazy. Then she jumped and my heart stopped. I had not yet witnessed in person at that point in my life a fish any larger than probably 7 pounds or so and I was trying to come to grips that that was actually a bass on my line.I never seen anything so huge and was living a dream for a moment.I woke up and I loosened the drag and played her very carefully since I was using braid line and found her just barely hooked in the rubbery part in the corner of her mouth by one single hook which was half straightened out, whew!,that was a close call.I was by myself and in a back pond off the freeway and held onto the fish for a little while in the hopes of seeing another soul who could witness the greatest moment in my fishing life and would have gladly paid anyone to take my picture, but never seen anyone else. It is my worst regret that I will probably never get a hold of another fish even close to as big as that one again in my life and I got no picture or nothing. I'm not big on pictures or bragging rights but every fisherman needs to have some sort of momento of their biggest catch. :-/ My second biggest is in my avatar and was 10.5 also on a rapala crankbait. Dt flat 7 purple back. All of my biggest fish from around here have been on cranks coincidentally, not large plastics or jigs.

New Flyleaf
Don't like Flyleaf but I like me some of them french fried taters mmmmhhmmm.

favorite fluke?
Yum Houdini shad is my favorite. Downfall is I can't get it in all the colors I like from Zoom. I also really love the Bass Assassin 6 inch twitch. That one is basically a slug-go type bait though but better.

another matt minnow toad
Great catch man! No,not preachy at all. In my opinion, (and I could be wrong for telling somebody what to do with their fish :) ,I think it is a crying shame how so many people just don't get it,especially in small waters.

Carolina Rigs
Like Bassin_Fin@tic mentioned,if you fish rocky areas they actually work better.I wish i could find them in brass. Right, and steel is harder than lead and will give you better feeling of the bottom but it is huge and even bigger than brass. Grimlin, these are the only ones I have found in brass yet.I haven't used them yet but they seem kind of neat. I just don't know if you would get the same "rolling effect" like a regular egg sinker. http://www.***.com/descpage-TBSS.html

Carolina Rigs
I agree. the only thing the "pre-rig" saves you is having to thread a weight and bead on the line. You still have to tie 3 knots.I like my sinker to be able to move up and down the line.
