  1. My thing is I have big bulky cheap-o life jackets for my boat, and I dont wear them when running. I dont want to go out and spend 100+ on the small nice life jackets. I know there is limited space I fished in tournaments before and I dont know if there is a place for a bulkier jacket and I certainly dont wanna wear it if I dont have to. Every tournament I was in was either trolling motor only lake or I knew the boater and he had a life jacket.
  2. I was wondering what non boaters are expected to bring to a tournament to cover themselves? Should non boaters bring their own dink boards/scales/culling system/life jackets/ anything else you can think of?
  3. I sent you a PM
  4. First off very nice fish! Great trip! Even 12 pound logs are tough to pull off the bottom!
  5. The question you have to ask yourself is what can you do for the company. What can you offer them worth them spending time/money/effort in you? Why would they give you a second sniff? Show the companies that you can provide answers to those questions and you should have a sponsor.
  6. I agree with Jeff H and Tokyo tony go with the shimano convergence!
  7. My cork broke too. Honestly that lightning rod was just trouble for me.
  8. I am from PSU bass fishing club. If you plan on going to Lake Newton in march your shirt can say "I tried my best but I could not beat Penn State University"

  10. Catfish arnt poisonous if they stick you good though you will go numb. Just grab their lower jaw and support them under their belly. The 20 lb ones bite hard...
  11. I have one like this at my cabin. It is flippin sweet! Get one... or two!
  12. I also disslike the google ads. Those kinds of ads are usually not worth my time clicking on, but as long as there is $$ attached what do I care. If thats what it takes to keep this place going fill it up!

Sowbelly- Monte Burke 6. Buck Perry's books seem good from what people hear (site listed below) http://www.buckperry.com/product_info.php?cPath=122&products_id=1231
  14. It all depends on you, let me ask you a few questions to get a better undertsnading. 1. Do you fish tournaments or recreation? 2. Do you have a boat? 3. What is your tackle lacking? 4. What are your rods and reels lacking?
  15. sounds like a good day other then the ice problem. Seeing so many eagles period is amazing... So many at one time is unbelievable
  16. I was thinking the same thing. You know what they say... dirty minds think alike! dsaavedra decided to take it a step further! I would like to try the stella or steez line. Gloomis IMX.
  17. Hello Dangergravy, the most simple knot to tie is the sinch knot. I dont know about Florida but in PA if you go out with nightcrawlers on a lake you will usually at least catch a couple fish. They are good to have when times get rough!
  18. I have seen a lot of pros carrying an extra trolling motor. Other then that bassnleo's list sounds good.
  19. Good fish, it was probably nice getting out even if it was for a half hour. Rest up feel better!
  20. Price wise... BFL is a cheap way to get tournaments in. Bassmasters is mucho grande $$$. If you are a non boater in the BFL you want to try to sign with a boater so you are guarenteed a spot in the tournaments. If you are not signed you need to sign up for it like an open and then you are not 100% going to be in the tournament. BFL I think goes on points like then if you are top in points you can go to there "classic". This is what I get out of it. I am sure people will add more/correct me. You can go to the websites and read the rules and regulations www.flwoutdoors.com <-- FLW/BFL/stren series http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/index <-- BASS
  21. Yeh I really like my Trion. Wait until muddy sees what you said mktrout uh oh!
  22. I really like the tackle bags with the 3700's in them. I like the Cabelas 3700 Pro Guide Tackle Bag w/Boxes. This is the kind of bag you would need as a coangler. I can hold a ton of harbaits/jigs/terminal. One problem is lack of space with plastics but I only carry a specific selection of plastics. I suggest going with a tackel bag.
  23. Quantum Catalyst Pt20 and 10 lb seagaur flouro
  24. Anime Other I am presuming you are not spiderman. Who in the right mind tries to jump from building to building? I will stick to my extreme sport which is jumping out of airplanes and I get a soft landing none of this tuck and roll nonsense.
  25. Very nice baits. Did you make these? If so BigM has some competition!
