  1. In my opinion they are exceptional boats top of the line. They are deep boats my neighbor got a brand new one because in vietnam a grenade blew up next to him and messed up his hearing. Something in his ear throws off his balance. He was scared of falling out of a boat so I suggested the crestliner.
  2. I love competition been involved in competing every since I was 5. Tournaments are a rush I am a huge adrenaline junky and I get a rush from tournaments. I am a young guy and I love suprising these older guys. Even when I take someone out to fish for fun in my mind I am still competing. Five years ago I tore my ACL and have been tearing my miniscus since. So it is very hard for me to get back into sports that involve speed and endurance so I needed another outlet. Fishing is it. I love striving for things as well and fishing is this HUGE puzzle with 1,000,000 peices that all of us try to figure out.
  3. Usual Suspects (If you havn't seen it... SEE IT), Way of the gun, God of War. So many more but these 3 are amazing!
  4. That is absolutely crazy. I couldn't imagine how many jumps you need until you can do that. I went skydiving, and to go solo you had to be certified. Needed a certain amount of jumps and so on. They probably practice with that suit skydiving.
  5. I couldn't agree with you more. Although once in awhile these innovative ideas are really breakthroughs and money makers. So in time we will see!
  6. How has no one said this movie!?! A Christmas Story ;D
  7. What not do you guys use for the following: Crankbaits: Topwater: Drop shot: C-Rig: T-Rig: Buzzbaits and Spinners: Weightless plastics: Jigs: I use the improved clinch knot on everything. I used to use the rapala knot on cranks that didnt have a split ring.
  8. In KVD's book he says to use 100% pure silicone which is sold in hardware stores. He also said that mono has silicone in it and that the line will become limp and more water repellent which will be good. Apparently water in the line weakens it.
  9. Ah ok good advice. Do you have a FLW angler profile?
  10. Tools-Internet Options-Security-Trusted Sites- Add www.bassresource.com
  11. So on average of a given tournament not counting snap offs. How many times will you change a lure? You are a boater though so this will be off. Since you probably have 20+ rods on board.
  12. When I am fishing a tournament I usually go into it with 5 rods all rigged with what I think will work and also cover most depths and cover since I am a coangler. I usually will have a Jig, senko, T rig, Crankbait, Topwater. How often do you guys switch between say a Trig and a jig or something. I find myself switching like every few casts is this wrong?
  13. I live in PA and we have a closed bass season while the spawn is on. I have read in muliple books that if you catch females during spawn it puts a huge amount of stress on the female and she most likely will not lay the eggs. It also said the eggs will just basically go back into her body like absorbs them. I think there will be various opinions on this subject. I think it all depends on how fast people play the bass. Could also be some other factors involved like handeling for instance.
  14. Congrats that will be an awesome experience, stick a few hogs for me!

  16. Don't people usually try to obtain the companies whose products they use and like as sponsors?
  17. Beltzville, Mauch Chunk, Promised Land, Lake Coyler, Stone Valley, Raystown, Lake Wallenpawpak. Stone Valley and Lake Coyler are in Centre County by Penn State. Raystown is also farther away.
  18. What about the the loop on the bills of crankbaits. Would you put a lucky craft ring on even if it didnt have a split ring to begin with?
  19. Does anyone use Lucky Craft Rings on their lures? I have a few topwaters and am thinking about putting these on. What are the benifits? Would it be wise on pointers and cranks also?
  20. If you are just fishing for fun dont want to spend a ton of equipment I would go with one, but you do find a huge difference between an ugly stick and say an avid. Rods you really really get what you pay for.
  21. What is the date of the one your talking about is it from Jan. 22 - Jan. 27?
  22. Zel we are practically neighbors. I live right next to where the service team (Country Junction) was.
  23. So this is why tuna costs 80 cents a can
