  1. If im ordering from a chain it is Pappa Johns only.....Unless my wife is eating too. Then we go back and fourth between Pappa Johns and Pizza Hut even though I dont like Pizza Hut. There is a little place down the road named Cafe Sicilia. If you werent looking for it you would pass by it and not even realize it is there. Best Italian food I have EVER had. Everything there is OFF THE CHAIN!!! Its not a traditional thin or thick crust, sort of in between. Plenty of cheese and fresh toppings sliced up right when you order. Baked in a brick oven. Holy crap I know where im eating lunch today. I like Sausage, pepperoni and onions on my pizza most of the time. But I am not picky when it comes to food.

    Jig.
  3. Green Pumpkin Magic for staind and darker water. Cali 420 for clear.
  4. I dont have an aanswer for you BUT One of my best friends doesnt believe in expensive fishing gear. He only uses spinning and fishes the Sienna's and loves them. Honestly i like them for the price. I have one i use for creek fishing in the winter for crappie and panfish along with my mitchell avocet. Great cheepo reels!
  5. In most cases small baits will get bit more often than larger baits. So getting the feel and learning to work a small jig will better prepare you for throwing 3/4 oz jigs in 20 FT of water.
  6. BassResources very own Glenn May has a video on Jig fishing here on the site in the videos section, and on youtube. His Youtube channel (BassResource) is very informative, check it out. As for recommending Jigs and trailers I am a fan of Strike King but NorthStar Jigs have become my go to bait. I have one tied on no matter what. My favorite of all the NS Jigs is the Flip n Swim. 1/2 oz Kentucky Blue Grass with a Rage tail Menace trailer has been dynamite for me lately and I cant put it down. For trailers I only use a handful. Rage tail craw, baby craw, grub and Menace. Havoc pit boss & chunk. Netbait Paca craw. Thats about it for me. Good luck and try whatever catches your eye! Part of the fun is experimenting IMO.
  7. Had to run up to work earlier for a little while so I decided I would make the trip worth it by stopping at the large pond thats close by my warehouse. Got there at 4 on the dot and started pitching a NSCB Flip n Swim in Kentucky Blue Grass and a Rage Tail Menace into small pockets in the muck. I let it swim all the way to bottom, pause for 5 seconds, give it a small twitch and they were hammering it every cast just about. I ended up with 8 fish when I left at 4:45. This pond has decent sized fish and it seems like i catch the same fish over and over because they are all right about 3 lbs. The only reason I didnt stay longer is because the water was so warm and the fish were even warmer. The last fish I caught almost didnt swim away. When the temps get a little cooler I will go back.
  8. Dont worry, I only work in Dallas. I fish 1 pond out there only cause its by my Warehouse. I do know dozens of ponds out there though.....Including yours.

I love fat chicks. Nice fish!!
  10. figuratively not literally. Though almost literally, IMO.
  11. would never go fishing without a bottle of kvd l&l. it's an incredible investment.
  12. Pflueger spinning reels are flawless.
  13. Kvd 1.5, red eye Shad, spinnerbait, Senko, jig. Not in that order. I live for fall. I can't even describe how excited I am just thinking about it now!
  14. you certainly have the right gear for jigs. For rocks I throw a football head 100% of the time. Go to the video section at the top of the page and click how to videos. Good luck!
  15. Northstar jig and rage craw or menace. I also like pit chunks for trailers when flipping. Just to name a few that is.
  16. I have never liked ultra soft. Most use it mainly on spinning gear. All you need is regular yo zuri in 12#. You will be 100% satisfied if you treat it with kvd l&l. Congratulations on coming to your senses finally lol.
  17. I throw mine T rigged like every other worm. I love using a small 1/8 oz weight in 10-12 ft of water so it has a real slow fall. The tail has so much action they can't resist the slow fall.
  18. I thought I was the only one.
  19. Nice fish. The anaconda is my go to worm.
  20. Excellence
  21. Alright fellas. Christmas is approaching fast and rather than wait until December, I like to get presents bought a little early to avoid the crazy holiday freaks. I also start buying early so I dont have to drop hundreds at a time. 50 here or 100 there over 3 months makes my wallet happier. My stepdad loves a glass of bourbon or tequila on the weekends and he usually drinks JD or 1800. I want to get a quality beverage and that is where yall come in. Im looking to spend about 100$ on a bottle of some good stuff. What do you guys recommend?
  22. Not sure if Shimano interests you but the Clarus is a bit under 100$ and the 6'8" M/XF is a true M IMO. I just recently broke the tip off of mine (My fault, not the rods). I will definitely replace when i have the cash. Good luck!
  23. Im just curious why?Same as my MH, just my smaller lures.I dont flip or fish heavy cover with it though. Spinnerbaits 1/4 & 3/8 oz. 1/4 & 3/8 swim jigs. light t rigged plastics. I dont throw any trebles over 1/2 oz so all of my cranks lipless or billed get tossed on my M as well. I actually like the feel of my M rod over all others BUT nothing beats flipping a 1/2 NSCB Jig n Rage plastic with my MH!
