  3. Welcome.. You have found one of the best Bass fishing resource sites on the net.
  4. You could come to South Florida, excelent snook, tarpon and Bass fishing. Stick marsh, Lake Okeechobee, Everglades, etc. Contact a local guide for more information.
  5. Nice fish! Good to see you back.
  6. Awesome trip, you really find some hidden spots.
  7. Awesome fish, you guys are on a role. Fishing little private lakes is about as good as it comes.
  8. wow, what a group of guys. You guys floor me with your generosity. This really is the best Bass Fishing site on the net. I really wish i had something to donate.
  9. Great day, i cant wait till mines old enough to start fishing.
  10. Man, i cant even imagine your frustration. All i can say is dont quit, keep at it. Do more research and maybe join a Bass Club. Fish with more experienced fisherman that do catch fish, that can show you what to do.
  11. he was wearing one, we took it off for the pictures because it is a little too big and blocks his face.
  12. Thanks for the comments, it was a great day.
  13. Well today was a 2 part trip, i went out solo in the morning throwing 3 and 4 inch wacky rig senkos. I had caught about 5 fish all under 2lbs, when all the sudden i get slammed with a massive down pour. So i putted to shore with my trolling motor, totally soaked cursing the whole way. I went home and gave up on fishing. Until the wife decides to persuade me to take her and my son out on the boat. So i head out on the lake for round 2, this time its around dusk and perfect weather. Thats when the fishing heated up. I nailed 10 more fish all between 3 and 4.5 pounds, using a 5 inch yum dinger in watermelon flake. Not a bad way to end the weekend.
  14. Personally i wouldnt recomend anything inflatable in Florida waters. But to each there own. You can get an aluminum jon boat/ or canoe soo cheap, why risk it with a float tube?
  15. Way to whack em!! Nothing like finding a bait thats hot and slaying em.
  16. These definetly were not Tilapia, These were LARGE bass. You see if someone told me Bass were bedding in South Florida right now id think they were seeing tilapia and peacock too. But seeing it for myself i just dont get it.

Its so hard to judge the weight of a fish from a picture. IF two people weighed the fish, and both agree that the fish is 9lbs. How can someone that did not see the fish dispute the weight? Its kind of a pointless battle to try.
  18. If you want i can post that one picture of me with the sun hat holding my Hawg? Remeber the 4 pounder i caught.
  19. Yea after 11 hours in the scorching sun with temps in the high 90's we were starting to get a little crazy. Thanks for the compliments guys, these fish were not peacocks and blue tilapia. They were Definetly Large Mouth Bass.
  20. We took the boat out today for some morning top water action, ended up staying out 11 hours on the water. We caught 8 fish total, I ended up getting outfished by Hunt N fish, another board member. Odd thing was the water temp was 86 degrees, yet i saw a ton of fish still on the beds spawining. Whats up with that isnt it a little late for Bass to be spawining in South Florida? heres some pictures the biggest of the day went 4 lbs.
  21. Try a jig head with a wacky rigged style senko worm in 4'. Toss that a few times and your bound to catch a few bass
  22. wow... you people are crazy. I thought i fished alot, but i was wrong. I normally get out 1 or 2 times a week for 2-3 hours at a pop. Occasionally ill get a 5 or 6 hour sunday trip in.
  23. There is no right or wrong reason to fish. You fish for whatever reason makes you happy... Period.
  24. Wow pictures really throw a curve. From the picture i would not think that bass was any less than 9.5 pounds, probably 10. it is definetly time to invest in a scale
  25. It could have been worse, he could have had jock itch.
