BPS Reel Trade In... Are you kidding me?!?
BPS tries to make Shimano look bad every year with that statement on the classic flyer. I used to date a girl that worked at BPS, and she always gave me killer deals on spooling my reels with house line...about the only good thing I've ever received from BPS.

Ghost in House
slave ghosts? that gives me chills. someone making up a story couldnt come up with random things like that, chalk like material on her clothes? When I was in college, I cut grass for the county parks dept. One of the properties I mowed used to be connected to the Underground Railroad. I never saw an apparition there, but would always see things out of the corner of my eyes, feel as if I was being watched, etc. The original house from the property had been moved, and is owned by a relative of my brother's girlfriend. The two of them used to house-sit for the owners, and both have seen a full-bodied apparition of a slave woman.

Ghost in House
Two options. Tangina or the Ghostbusters. Nope, she recently died. Perhaps her ghost could be more helpful than her human form. ;D As far as ghost go, they are real, and I've seen/experienced several full-body apparitions; from a little boy to an old man. I have a buddy who is a math/physics nut. I love it when he tries to tell me that ghosts do not exist, because it is mathematically impossible...it makes me feel so good to know that system is flawed.

2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
Is anyone competing in a fantasy baseball league this year? Mine doesn't draft for a few more weeks.

Swept in handles on casting reels, love 'em or hate 'em??
I've never had a problem with the swept design. In fact, if I had the money, I would upgrade as many of my reels as possible with swept handles.

Avid all the way.

Topwater and Frog Setup.
I use different setups for the two; the main reason being the line. Frogs and braid are like peanut butter and jelly, though I don't like braid for the rest of my topwater duties. I like mono or copoly for these, as I want some stretch in my line. I don't fish frogs often, so I'll list some of the rods used in my revolving topwater arsenal: -just picked up a 6' M Steez -G Loomis IMX CR721 -Fenwick Techna AV 6' M -Kistler LTA 5'10" MH -Kistler LTA 6'3" M These rods are usually paired with Shimano Chronarch 51Mg's.

I dont know how to use this rod!
We all have to start somewhere.

Cleared Photofinished Baits
Very cool. I think purple was the first color in which I gained confidence...and it's still my #1.

A few new patterns.
Heck yea. I can see those getting bit just about anywhere.

WI Trip / Gathering *Updated with Dates and info*
Hey Koop, do you own a DX 701C? I've been really interested in this rod for some time, and I know it could see a lot of double-duty time for 'eyes. I simply can't afford to shell out three bills for a rod I have never seen.

Selvish Capers-West Virgina
Any West Virgina fans have any comments on this OT? He has been rising on the draft boards, and looks like a good fit in Green Bay.

When did buying gas turn into an interogation?
That is a reality around here, and the second language is Polish. ;D When gas pumps started with the whole fraud thing here, the only preventative measure was limiting how many times the card was used in a certain amount of time. On fishing trips, we would have several vehicles to fill, so we had a 'designated runner.' He would run from pump to pump with the designated trip credit card. We didn't think it was funny until we saw the same thing happening at a gas station across the street...it was hilarious to watch, especially if there was a snag to slow the guy down. ;D

Ice fishing has been a gas this year !
Those things are really something. 8-) After fishing with electronics through the ice, it's tough to go back to fishing without them...kinda like DVR. ;D

Curado vs Chronarch vs Calais
If only there was a domestic Calais 101.

I dont know how to use this rod!
A 7', MH rod is one of the most versatile rods in the world of bass fishing. It will make a great pitchin' stick.

Sebile -Soft
So far I've only had issues with the nose of the bait getting ripped up by a strike or during the fight, similar to how a fluke gets ripped up at the nose and will no longer stay put on the hook. I'm going to try gluing them to see how long that prolongs the life of the bait. Glue sounds like the only way to with these baits. I wanted to purchase a few, but at five bucks a pop...ouch.

BPS Reel Trade In... Are you kidding me?!?
One of the things that always got me, during the Spring Classic, was the attitude of the associates. I know they are swamped, stressed, etc, but most every time I asked a simple question, I was given the roll of the eyes, and/or the what do you want look. No thanks. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Ancestry.com?
Was she able to track her family back to the old country(ies)? Is that possible on the site?
-
Ancestry.com?
I was wondering if anyone has used this site, or knows anyone who has? I have too much time on my hands right now, and thought I'd do a little digging. Is this site cost-effective, a scam, etc.? -Thanks

Yea, I really didn't understand that one. At that point I knew whatever I said was not going to change anything, so I bit my lip and walked away...before I got arrested for accosting an employee of the federal government. ;D
