Well said LAO162. Another thing I saw as insulting is the time limit regarding the warranty registration of a rod, any rod. The consumer is required to fill-out and return the warranty card within 10 days of purchase, or of receiving as a gift. I understand a time limit, but ten days?

Not true. What if I bought the rod next week? I won't see soft water for months. This happens all the time; rods can be had at deep discounts this time of year. What if I purchase one, and set it safely in a rod wrack for several months until ice-out. Let's say I go out with the rod for the first time in May, and it snaps in two on a hookset. Now where is my warranty? I see thirty days as an insult.

The commercials have been almost as bad as the HT show. From an entertainment standpoint, everything but the game has stunk: Carrie Underwood was awful; the commercials have been annoying at best; and The Who really should have pre-taped the show.

I really like The Who...the original Who, and when they still had they're voices. This really is an embarrassment. Someone just lost their job. ;D

Too funny. I especially like the Shockey rule. What a tool. One the day of SB 31, Pack vs Pats, I woke up and started bonging beers in my dorm room...sometime around 10am. We watched the game at my buddies down the hall, and got even more schitty. I pretty much blacked-out during the fourth quarter. All I remember is Holmgren being carried on his teams' shoulders, and I was crying. ;D To make matters worse, during the first week of classes, I bet my buddy that if the Pack won it all I would run across campus in my skivvies....it was very cold that night.

Senior openly admitted in an interview several years ago that he would put the OCC name and/or logo on pretty much anything, as long as it made him some money. Since he couldn't predict how long their popularity would last, he was going to make as much money as he possibly could while it lasted. Good riddance. Wow! What a POS.

For that price I'd buy a Conquest...and then blow the rest on baits.
