  1. I may not flat out lie,but I'm not going to tell them EVERYTHING that took a lot of effort to find out for myself
  2. yeah,That's the way that I mainly use it.It works great in shallow, grassy areas, too. It keeps the bait free from getting fouled up.I also use it the traditional way successfully.
  3. I fish points leading into creek arms and coves.I also fish backs of coves/creek arms and mouths of both.I have lots of luck throwing spinnerbaits and pitching soft plastics into laydowns along the banks of coves/creekarms.
  4. When you get time,go and figure it out.
  5. I use Abu Garcias,Quantums, and a couple of Shimano spinning reels.I voted Abu because I have more of them(10) than the others.
  6. I have a 40 hp Yamaha that I bought in the spring of '05,and it is a great motor.I've had no problems with it,and it will haul a$$ on my little 15 ft glass Terry.I've owned a Johnson and an Evinrude, and they were excellent motors.I like this one better. If I ever get a big rig,I'll go with the E-Tec.I've heard lots of good things about them.
  7. I fish a 300 acre lake that gets loaded with underwater grass this time of year(also some floating grass pads).Along with the topwaters and shallow running cb's,I like to CAST a drop shot rig.It keeps my bait grass free and the weight slides easily through the grass.
  8. At this time of year,I want to be on the water ready to fish about 15-30 minutes before first light. When it cools up ,I'll wait until 6:30-7:00 AM before I start.
  9. I don't know if he's guilty or not(although it looks pretty evident to any 3 year old),but I'm a dog lover and detest any coward that beats, tortures,or kills a dog because it didn't win a dog fight.I think we're dealing with scum of the earth.
  10. I like the no net rule.I mean, come on FLW,grow a pair.
  11. I like 'em in cool or cold weather.I like a suspending Rogue and a Live Pointer.
  12. I like to flip a Baby Brush Hog and a Brush Hog in Watermelon Candy.
  13. I'd say $15-$25 hardbaits myself.I own a few,and they're good baits that catch bass.I catch as many or more on the $5-$7 hardbaits.
  14. I think Norman CB's are the best.I also like Rapala Shad Rap and DT series.
  15. Chartreuse with black or blue back, red or brown crawfish, and pearl.
  16. Glad the forum is back on the net.I was beginning to wonder if it was all over with.
  17. T-rigged plastics seem to be the most versatle lure.
  18. That really is a slap in the face of fishermen.I've never heard of that being done until reading your thread.
  19. Way to go ,Timmy! Couldn't happen to a better guy.
  20. I've always used MK,and I've always gotten every pennies worth of use out of them.
  21. I really like just about any on bass fishing.I really like to watch "The Bassmasters" on Elite Series events(especially when KVD does well).
  22. The skiers, jet skiers, and pleasure boaters have just as much right to be there as I do,but I don't have to like it ! Fishing surely suffers when they are out racing up and down the lake. That's one of the reasons that I fish early, late, and at night.
  23. I hunted for 35 years then gave it up to bass fish year 'round. My youngest son wants to hunt,so I'll be out in the woods with him for deer mainly and a little squirrel hunting before deer season opens.
  24. 1)Go to a Manchester United game. 2)Go to a Glasgow Rangers game. 3)Spend about three months with friends of the family in West Kilbride,Scotland.
