  1. I use a lizard also about 95 % of the time so I go with a 3'0 Lazer Sharp EWG hook.I hardley ever miss a fish.I use a sweeping motion on the set and not the traditional "cross their eyes" set.
  2. I use a 6'6 Lightning rod(spinning),a Shimano spinning reel,10 lb Berkley Vanish fishing line,and a 3'0 Lazer Sharp hook.
  3. I need woman help.too...LOL.After 26 years of marital bliss to a truly great woman,I've come to one conclusion. No matter how much you think you do,men will never truly understand women. We have a GREAT relationship, but just when I think I have it all figured out she throws me a curveball...LOL!
  4. I'm a Celts fan through good and bad.For a team that should have the luck of the Irish,we sure never get any.The Ohio State center would have been a franchise player,IMO.
  5. While on the subject, does anybody know the the correct way to rig a T-rigged worm?LOL...just kidding newbies. You ask whatever you need to know. You'll get lots of help here.As was mentioned,if I don't want to read it,I'll just not read it!
  6. 1)KVD-Just to see an artist at work. 2)Ike-Great angler, but for the entertainment value. 3)Swindle-For the entertainment value. 4)Denny-I love pitchin'/flippin' jigs and tubes;would love to take notes from the master. 5)Clunn-To watch a legend at work.
  7. I used those back in the day and really never had problems with them.I installed mine myself and made sure everything was wired correctly.Sure beats the hail out of constantly having to operate on/off by hand.
  8. Spinnerbaits are also my #1 search bait.I generally fish without a trailer, but as has been said, dirty water and when I want to present a larger profile I'll go with a ripple tail grub mostly just to get their attention.
  9. I fish alone quite a bit. There are some advantages.I always feel like I have to produce fish for someone that I take fishing, and it doesn't always work out.The guys I generally fish with are Alpha male types that want to dictate when, where, and how we fish.As I'm also an Alpha male,it can be an unenjoyable trip.I like to be the "captain" of my ship. Also,I fish some crazy hours, especially in the summer(3-4 AM until). Not very many folks like those hours.
  10. I'll remember this when I come up on a bank fisherman...LOL.I'll give 'em a WIDE berth!!!
  11. Right now I'm really into handguns and target shooting.I've got two 9 mm. that I really get into:A Ruger P89 and a Glock 17.
  12. Muddy, through all your posts you seem like a real stand up guy.I'm happy for a great guy,and I pray for you to keep up that inner strength that you obviously have loads of.
  13. I'm for concealed carry, but as others have said I think it should be up to the state. The Fed has just gone too far in running peoples lives.
  14. A Kinami Flash would be the best because it's basically the same bait.
  15. It's a great summertime bait and also a great night time bait.
  16. Go with the spinnerbait. It's just too versatle a a bait.Great seach bait that you can do a lot of things with.
  17. BPS plays both sides of the fence. It's just more profit. And you can't blame 'em.They're in business to make money.

    Who is "they"?
  19. In addition to the Mann's -1 cbait,I also use an Excaliber Swimming Image. It swims about 12-14 inches deep no matter how fast you reel it in.It comes in some realistic looking finishes. My favorite is the Threadfin Shad.
  20. 1)Rogue floater 2)spinnerbait 3)plastics(finese,senkos,tubes,lizards,regular T-rigged worms,C-rig plastics) 4)Crankbaits

I use scents mainly to cover man/manmade odors.I've used Yum shad and garlic.I've also used Bang garlic.I'm currently using Gamefisher that has an anise smell to it.I've had best results with the Gamefisher believe it or not.
  22. Manarka, which is a oxbow lake in Vadelia,LA across the MS River from Natchez,MS.It was once a part of the MS River that is as "fishy" a lake as I've ever seen.Seventeen of miles of great fishing.
  23. I had an incident several years ago that could have ended in foul play had I not been carrying.I started for the lake around 4 AM.There's usually no traffic on the roads at this time.A car got behind me and followed me right off my rear bumper for about 5 miles. When I turned off to go to the lake it turned and continued to ride my bumper for around 3 miles to the lake .The car follows me to the launch ramp(which is deserted) and pulls up right beside me.There wasn't a boat attached to this car just tinted windows.I was spooked and glad that I brought my Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum.I just showed it to them and cocked the hammer. The car took off.If I'm fishing early, early morning by myself I always carry(now a p89 9 MM.)
