  1. Probably the Spurs, but I'm rooting for the Cavs.Remember all the talk about how big,bad Detroit was gonna annilate them?
  2. I've been using it lately on a dropshot rig and have had no breakoffs.I like it.
  3. I use several Lightning Rods, and they are great for the price.I've been using them for 10+ years or more.
  4. The Shad Rap and DT series are outstanding, but I've caught more with an original floater in silver w/black back than any other hardbait.
  5. I too usually use them as a flippin' bait, but they can be used in many ways.I've fished them like a T-rigged worm,C-rigged,weightless,and on a dropshot.
  6. I've caught 'em with both, but I've had more bites on the Senko.
  7. WELCOME!!!
  8. Plastics=Zoom,Culprit,SK Crankbaits=Norman,Rapala Jerkbaits=Smithwick,Rapala Spinnerbaits=SK Buzzbaits=SK Topwaters=Heddon,Smithwick,Rapala
  9. I'll pretty much watch any of them.I just don't care to watch saltwater shows.
  10. been eating those things since i was a kid.they are good.
  11. I like CSI:Miami,Sensing Murder,Sky Sports,Fox Soccer Report,The O'Reilly Factor,Law and Order,Cops,and 48 Hours(A&E).
  12. My favorite flippin' lure in any cover is a 4" tube.
  13. I peg with a toothpick using a lead bullet weight.Have no probs, and if I lose one it's no big deal.If you are so concerned about losing a $1.00 weight, use lead or don't peg. Please everybody,no sermons on the evils of using lead.I've heard 'em all.
  14. I fell in my boat once because of some really rough water.I tried to catch my fall as I hit the floor and broke two fingers.
  15. Horney Toad type bauts can be used in many different ways(as I'm sure you all know).I use them mainly as a buzzbait but will dead stik it when I come to an open pocket in the grass.I also use then as c-baits,and plastic j-baits.I pitch 'em,flip 'em,and use on c-rigs.They're very versitile.
  16. A T-rgged worm ought to cure you problems. Are you setting the hook when you feel some of the limbs?

I prefer a nice ripple, but I'll go when the winds are howling.I've actually had some of my best outings when it's windy as hail.I like throwing a spinner bait into cover on a windy bank.Caught some nice 3-7 pouders like that. Also like prop bauis, buzz baits, and throwing a shallow c-bait on a windy stump flat.I'll aso pitch tubes and creature baits into cover on windy banks.
  18. Several years ago my wife fished with me 100% of the time, but she got tired of getting up so early in the morning and/or night fishing. Now,I'd say that I fish 80% of the time alone and 20% of the time with my 16 year old son.He likes it,but he is a sleepy head. I fish out of a renovated 16 ft Terry bass boat with a 25 HP Yamaha.
  19. I like to use the newer techniques, and I do catch fish using them. However,I usually go with what I have confidence in.I like to go fishing and use baits that have passed the test of time as far as being fish catchers.Using the dropshot, shakey head, and other finese presentations is exciting and fun,but I catch most of my fish on tried and true baits that have been catching 'em for decades.Although I don't limit myself to these baits,I've caught more bass on a silver/black back Rapala Original floater and a plain ole black plastic worm fished Texas style.
  20. Washington.DC,your tax dollars inaction.
  21. I saw that on ESPN.That's just terrible.God bless 'em and his family.
  22. That is incredible!I've had stuff thrown at me but never shot at.
  23. Yeah,we've won quite a few, but the last time was when Larry Bird played. As for luck,I was referring to our lack of it in the lottery .
  24. I never did anything like that(too poor),but I can remember some loading goof ups when I first started.I'll bet everybody within eyesight got a good laugh or two.It just takes a little experience and a little advice.
