  1. Hey guys I can't find a link to the article but December 2007 issue of ATV Sport p.87 published some of the caffeine levels. This will give you an idea of what you are actually drinking. Beverage Caffeine mg/oz Lipton Ice Tea 2.5 Coca-cola Classic 2.88 Amp 8.9 Full Throttle 9 Red Bull 9.6 Monster 10 Rock Star 10 Coffee 13 These were most of them and the ones that some of you guys mentioned.
  2. Yeah some of those can cause rapid heart beat and elevated blood pressure. A big trick I've found to avoiding that is make sure you eat something before hand and drink some water after. Helps lessen the jittery effects. Biggest problem could be that larger amounts of caffeine over time can change your adreline productions and what not. I'd see that as a bigger problem. If I can find it later there was a short article I'll try and link that had the actual caffeine levels and the effects of these. If you guys are looking for something that is sugar free and really kicks you to the point where I couldn't even close my eye, Spike Shooter. It's made by Biotest a supplement company. They actually warn you not to drink it 6 hours before bed. If you feel like you need to try it you'll prob have to buy it online or somewhere like the Vitamin Shoppe.
  3. KU thanks. I'll send you a message tomorrow. Sam I'll keep those in mind for next year. Basically the application deadlines have passed for this year. So my applications were already sent out for this year. So now it's just a waiting game. The University of Illinois at Chicago is one of the top 4 in the country and is right by me here. I'm just trying to get some information because right now I've received an invitation for an interview ad Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. I'd like to get an idea what the pharmacy/professionl degree programs interviews are like. Thanks bassdocktor
  4. Come on now Muddy, I'm trying to find out something about pharmacy school.
  5. Thanks for this post guys. I never really listened to any before today. Gives me something better for my ride to school.
  6. Wishin4Fishin I love my Triton. I haven't had it out in anything too nasty so I can't comment on that but in some nasty nasty boat wakes there have been no problems. If I had the garage space I'd probably try adding the jackplate and see if I could get it running even better. This summer I may try using a different prop. I'd like to get those extra 300rpms out of the engine. It has alot of space in it. It's fully loaded so that both my dad and I can have everything we both need so I'm sure you'd find that it has plenty of space for just you. bassdocktor
  7. Glad my classes are actually helping some one out.
  8. Yeah news here in Illinois is saying he was targeting the professor. One of the students shot is an intern for one of the news reports here. I belive it was one of the weather men.
  9. Let me know your questions. Technically I'm an econ major right now. I've had 2 macro classes plus micro.
  10. I've got a 05' Triton TR186 with the Merc 150 XR6 not the max(175) but a common setup, Tempest Plus prop 23 inch pitch I believe. Also, no jack plate. Ran 58.3mph gps. Full tournament load on that run and I believe it was with 3/4 tank of gas. Still has some has 300 rpm till it reaches the max suggested. Jack plate or different prop would change that.
  11. Hey guys I don't have a question about any meds or anything like that but if you fit the description in the title could you please send me a PM? Thanks, bassdocktor
  12. Good Luck!!
  13. SFC_AL congrats. Looks like it will be nice.
  14. Great job with that and welcome. As far as painting it goes I'd probably consider what's in the lake where it will get the most use.
  15. Good luck and have fun tomorow. Can't wait to see the final decision.
  16. Sorry you click edit profile after User CP.
  17. Hey close to the top of the page click User CP, then click profile which comes up, probably will want you password. The click option and that should be the last step and you can change you avatar. But each one of those options shows up after you clikc the first one. Hope that helped, bassdocktor
  18. It must be awesome to get to see all that stuff at once.
  19. Little Johnny keeps getting the best of his teachers.
  20. There alot of good brands out there. It all depends on what you are going to be doing. If you plan to be riding in the winter/plowing finding one with EFI would be an advantage as the ones with carbs can take some time to really warm up. Moby just to let you know those Raptor are fast but 80+ is too high. I've never seen or read about a stock one breaking 80 on a GPS. For it to break 90 I'm guessing it was set up for drag racing. One thing that some of you may not have like about your Honda I'm guessing is the solid rear axle if you are hitting the back country. I'm sure some of you like the independent suspension all around especailly since you gain some extra ground clearance. I cant' comment on this since mine isn't but when I've sat on some of the Cats' they seem like they be kinda top heavy if you were gonna be riding fast on a trail. Hopefuly someone with one can chime in about that. It might just be me. Doon't forget about stuff like a helmet too when you finally pick one.
  21. Not a 4x4 but I have a Honda Recon 250 for just kinda playaing around. Sometimes will tow something around the yard if I don't wanna use the tractor. But awesome when there is some some hardpacked snow ice. You can drift all over and really get it sliding. As far as reliability most people who know alot about atvs will say Honda is the way to go. But any brand will really be good if you take care of it. Beside some plowing what else are you gonna use it for and where will you ride? Are you going to be hitting trails, mud pits, or do some GNCC racing. The biggest thing I can say is ride some different ones before you make a decision. Pretty much everyone will tell you buy the biggest you can. You'll prob want bigger later. Plus having some extra engine will be nice if you plan on plowing or working. bassdocktor
  22. Nice perch. Those are some big ones.
  23. Hester, the big pond is awesome if you are looking for some nice smallies. Went out on my birthday October 8 and we took what would have been a 20lb limit. Alot of it depends if you have a boat or wanna drag it out. And where you are located.
  24. HUNTER19 got it right. They will want it back at some point. Ultimately, it is believed that people will save money they receive now knowing that it will be paid back in the future. Also known as Ricardian Equivalence.
