  1. Hey I would try asking some of the college clubs in Arkansas. They might be able to give you a lead. You could always try facebook if you have it. I know there is a smashmouth group. Maybe someone in there can give you a lead.
  2. Wow. Those flames will look awesome on a rod.

They are nice because there are several different depth ranges and sizs and all seem to react relatively the same when they are in the water. I do find that when there tend to be more weeds they aren't my first choice. For me atleast, they just don't come through as easily. Sparse weeds are ok too. However, when I am around hard cover/structure they seem to work very well. Color wise I just use what ever I normally would or as close it as possible.
  4. I remember that old one LBH. If I remember got alot of people wanting to try it.
  5. Last weekend pike were on at Gun. We had our final tournament there and lots of pike. Pretty much were hitting everything for me including the dropshot. 2 weeks ago they were on big time over at Muskrat lake in I believe Allegan county. I had one come off at the boat about 36 and one guy boated one over 36. Plus many around 18" Mine all came on fire tiger cranks over on Muskrat.
  6. Many of you remember him, his videos, and his sister. On Tuesday he will be giving one of his kidneys to his sister. I just thought it'd be nice if we could remember both Ed and his family over the next few days and weeks as they prepare and recover. bassdocktor
  7. Wow that's too bad. I never even saw anything about his passing. Alot of the greats are gone now.
  8. I've been there twice. Lot of standing timber. Stumps too. When I went later in the spring I remember some vegitation but I'm not sure what or where because I was maybe 12 at the time. There is some rock too. Water clarity I can't say since when I went they were drawing the lake down almost the entire time. Plus there was some rain.

I never have but my partner did and about 4 casts later he caught a keeper sized bass.
  10. There is quite a bit of info you can easily find. I'm sure alot of the stuff does work even though many people will say don't even bother. Similar to sports nutrition there are those that will never accept some of it. As far as it being valid many pharmacy colleges are adding a course about herbal supplements/medicines.
  11. What a price difference.
  12. Always good to have new people. bassdocktor
  13. I have to agree with getting the 3. We originally did not and regretted it when the 2nd time out the battery was dead. However, in all fairness the original battery that was in the boat had a bad cell. Took it back to the dealer, worked out a deal on an upgrade and swiched the battery out. Ever since we've never had a problem with the batteries. You also never have to worry especially if you don't get to run the big motor.
  14. Go to the forums at highlifter.com They've had discussion about every type of winch there. This includes many of the brands you only see on Ebay.
  15. Looks like a great outing.
  16. I was sent one as a replacement when my Jimmy Houston signature rod broke. It's been a great rod. I've often looked at buying another 1 or 3 but for some reason have always picked something different. Still a nice rod.
  17. What part of Chicago are you guys going through. The entire south side is not bad. Sure there are a few scattered places but where are there?
  18. Baitmonkey I've got to ask what's wrong with the south side of Chicago? I don't have any problems.
  19. Awesome boat. I love the yellow on Tritons.
  20. Congrats. Healthy looking Michigan bass. Must be a good year for big bass in MI because I've been seeing more 5lbs or better fish than I remember over the last few years.
  21. I went throguh the entire post about that project and what a transformation. Good luck with that shopping. Will you be adding anythign else?
  22. Matt, awesome looking setup. I've wondered how people get the in wall tank but I've never checked it out. Very cool project.
  23. You might consider something like the mudlites that are designed for mud to give you the extra grip. Check your PM's
  24. Definitely one of the greats. Really wish I would have gotten to see him, Krupa and many others.
