  1. Very clean looking. Looks new, kinda hard to believe that it is a 95.
  2. Hey being from Illinois I can help you with the I pass situation. You can actually get an I pass at places like Jewel or other grocery stores. With the I pass I believe you get a discount at several of the tolls. Now you can use the I Pass in Indiana with their new I Zoom system if you register it online with Indiana. Yes they do have cameras at the I Pass booths and I have heard of many people being sent fines or bill for flying through the IPass lane without paying. Sorry to have to tell you that. I know you can get a small envelope from other toll booth to give them money should you "accicdentally" go through an IPass lane. Why an I Pass? The entire idea is decrease travel time by letting people freeely pass through. Hoever when you pass through certain areas they actually make more congestion when they only have 1 or 2 manuel lanes open. Hope this helps, Bassdocktor
  3. Hey just a side note on the permit. Sometimes they can let you keep smaller fish than the legal limit. I know in Chicago we get a 12" permit instead of a 14" beside the regular tournament permit. Squid it is getting worse than that in parts of SW Michigan. Now you can only have a "contest" and not a tournament. The lake associations bought alot of the permits to keep us off the water. But a few of the sheriffs know that we are out fishing a tournament and they are all cool as long as we have our safey gear with us.
  4. Thanks Muddy like I said I hadn't heard that and you are right it does need to be validated. Steroids are a part of wrestling like it or not. Vince has been called one of the largest pushers of steroids. When you consider the sport of body building steroids are extremely prevalent. What do most of the wrestlers have a background in? Oh bodybuilding. So it's easy to see how how common steroids might just be. Most recently Chris Masters got busted by WWE's newest drug/steroid policy and when he came back what happened? 50lbs lighter. This doesn't mean all the wrestler do them either. If you look closely at some of these guys you'll actually see some of the physical evidence of current steroid use.
  5. Muddy, I was just wondering when you read he had anabolic steroids. Up until now everything I read had said anything found was prescription and that there was nothing illegal. In no way is it a defense for him I was just wondering because I'd like to see what they say when this all ends.
  6. I know alot of people are mad that WWE played the tribute to him and rightfully so but they have released statements basically saying they were wrong. They have pulled all tributes to him from the web and tv. They have stated that steroids were most likely not involved and that he was recently tested and the results were negative. If you go to their website you can get alot of info about what is going on including the genetic disorder his son had which they feel may have contributed to Chris state of mind.
  7. I also generally don't see speed from bassboats as much of a problem. Like cart7 said I feel better around bassboats than anyother type. My experience has been that bassboats put out less wake aswell. On most of the lakes I am on speed is the least of the problems. As people have said irresponsiblle PWC operators are one. The worst are people with ski boats pulling tubers, skiers, or cruising. They like to get right nest to you or circle in such a tight spot that huge wave build up. People need to learn what are safe boating practices. As far as a speed limit it probably could be useful on small lakes. The one lake I was one it didn't really matter since people were blowing past the speed limit and there was no enforecement. It also might be good on narrow rivers. bassdocktor
  8. It is horrible what happened to his family and self. The wrestling world will miss him regardless of whatever may have happened. The thing with Vince was just an act as he admitted last night at the beginning of RAW. As far as another loss to the wrestling community Sensational Sherri died within the last 2 weeks.
  9. I've purchased several reels through Ebay. All of them have been Quantum Energy baitcasters. I'm not sure about the price deal but if you can find some one with a Tour card, probably someone sponsored, you'll see how cheap the reels can be. I haven't had a problem. The seller I used was someone like OhYeahSales, they seemed to be the cheapest on the Energies at the time.
  10. The only time I used them was when I was running out of horny toads and they worked really well as an alternative. Slid over the mats well.
  11. 10 gallons is way too small. A good rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish for every gallon. However, You also need to take out the space that all of the gravel and other items take up. So 10 gallons gets rather small rather quickly. bassdocktor
  12. I have to agree that casting all day really won't build any muscle. However, if you were looking to build some muscle while fishing reeling in a large deep diving crankbait would be a good way to build up one of you forearms.
  13. One thing that truely needs to be remembered is that you will never see all of the fish that are on beds. Also, some have said it is unsporting. I'm sure these comments are saying that it is too easy. I know several people that for both large and small mouth have spent hours and have not gotten the fish to bite. You also need to remember that not every spawning fish will go after your lure.
  14. Hey this may sound stupid but put some chalk in your box. Just take a few pieces and toss them in. Really work well to prevent the rust. I've even seen some guys in similar threads suggest those thos little packet that come in clothes and shoes. Silica Gel I think? bassdocktor
  15. While it may not work easily like several have suggested it would be cool to do with a club. I think it would be especially a good format if everyone in the club really knows the water. I'm sure it would force people to fish alot differently. If it was just with your club you could call each other when you had a limit.
  16. Looks like it will be really nice when you get it all cleaned up. But it doesn't look bad now.
  17. I do both. Alot depend if the cover is on. If so no seats and alot of times if we're going on a longer trip they come off too. We just take them off so we don't have to worry and it is one less thing to possible go wrong.

Here is a link to a previous post about bass chat it has a bunch of the guys screen names. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1170991937/3#3
  19. Hey as someone who fishes as boater I have a suggestion. Talk with you boater, offer suggestions. I realize aot of guys aren't gonna jump on a suggestion you make because I know many of those guys. However, I personally welcome anything my nonboater has to say especially if they have been on the water before or we don't have anything in the livewell. I know I have alot to learn and a long way to go. So the worst they can do is say "I really don't think we should do that." bassdocktor
  20. That's some amazing playing
  21. I've been using their line for the past probably 10 years with no problems. Once in awhile if it is on sale I'll get a pack of Gulp. I've always liked their worms and they are pretty easy to get around me. The only thing I didn't like was about 10 years ago their Tournament Strength worms. They would always rip really bad after only 5 casts. The Frenzys have been great for me at times too. bassdocktor
  22. Wow that looks nice. I like the color transitions and the blue look on the claws.
  23. I read something about this awhile ago that these changes were in the works. I don't really have any opinion about the Majors but it is the ultimate branding opportunity for the pros. They will finally be able to be seen in their sponsor boats at all times. It also opens B.A.S.S. up for more potential sponsorship rather than being locked into one brand. It is also a good opportunity for one of the smaller companies like Bass Cat to get more exposure. Plus in the past the pros always seem to have favored the idea of being able to fish from their own boat. I think the chnage has the possibility to be beneficial. bassdocktor
  24. My pick between the 2 is gonna be Slipknot. I've listened to some stuff by Mushroomhead and just never liked it that much. I think the reason I like side with Slipknot is the percussion. I've been a percussionist for over 12 years and I just like how they bring in more that just a drumset. While alot of people will disagree but Joey Jordison actually is a very good drummer and probably his style is part of their success. I think the problem with metal today is the definition has changed. So what people consider metal now is much different than before so that alone can cause arguements when trying to compare todays groups with the classics. If you are really look for fast metal you need to look outside the US. Sweeden, the stuff I've heard from there puts alot of todays groups to shame. bassdocktor

Yeah it was a major let down. Actually, the way the built up the last few episodes they kinda seemed like a let down too.
