  1. Heycheck out ebay. Just type in fishing banners. I've bought a few that way.
  2. That's a nice Mustang Matt.
  3. Hey thanks for the site I didn't realize that was there.
  4. Cool. Looks good. Enjoy it.
  5. Congrats man. I hope my school one goes as well tomorrow.
  6. Also depending on your situation and extra prop for the big engine is always good. Having an spare or 2 for the trolling motor can really save a day on the water. Make sure you have the hardware for the trolling prop like pins and nuts.
  7. Another thing I didn't see mentioned was a spare tire. Definitely worth its weight in gold on the highway. Some people might not have one when they sell you the boat. Also you should check that the tire iron fits your trailer tires because that would be an extra cost. Depending where you live and park lug locks might be good. Plus a grease gun with marine grease for the trailer hubs.
  8. I like that one.
  9. Hey and welcome.
  10. I also forgot there was a small increase in mpg's and the HP went up somewhere between 7-17 I don't remember exactly.
  11. Congrats. It looks really nice.
  12. My dad's F150 with dual rear exits was around $380-390 installed. I wanna say it was the delta series. It's not that loud compared to most of the trucks here. You do notice it a little bit inside but it's not bad.
  13. Hester where were you in Chicago? I've been seeing about $3.28. You must have been right by an airport or downtown.
  14. What about the energy gum? Its got some caffeine.
  15. And by the way. I did try looking at previous posts back to around December the other day but they were able to spend alot more.
  16. Ok I'm looking for a new bait casting rod to use for stuff like t-rigs, senkos, tubes(mostly jig heads), and jigs around 1/4oz. Rare occasions heaviest weight would be a 3/4oz jig head but most likely only 3/8 the heaviest. Granted I know it is probably a stretch to assume I'll get all of this out of one rod. BUt keep that in mind. Would only be used in open water, rocks and very light vegetation. So pulling a fiish it out isn't a major issue. I'm really considering the Carrot stix but am not sure which one would be right. I'd like to hear you recommendations for which model. Also I'm open to any other rod as long as it is really no more than $150, and preferably around 7ft for casting distance. Thanks in advance, bassdocktor
  17. O hey I probably should have mentioned this line was all used on a spinning reel.
  18. Wow that is huge. Too bad it died, but atleast they can use it for research.
  19. Cool. That's something nice you can add to college applications. Especially if you apply to highly competeitve programs things like the NHS really. They show you do more than just sit in class.
  20. Yes there are alot of carrot stix post but this doesn't come up in them (I wnet back to December). I'm just looking to see which one you guys have and what you use it for. I'm looking for a new rod and this is one of the choices. Thanks
  21. My dad and I have used it for several years. I've had no problem with it. It only broke one time because I had my drag extremely tight, my fault. My dad on the other hand seems to have alot of problems. His seems to twist alot and break sometimes, mine does't . I'm not not sure why because he's in charge of spooling why I take care of other stuff. Heck they are even all stored together. bassdocktor
  22. Well they are also working closely with the BASS Fed Nation clubs aswell. There is a big push by our state board of directors to "sponsor" by which they mean help some of these schools. They want the clubs to be actively involved by being the boaters for the school. I personally think that the Fed Nation is going to try to push this process through. It will be pretty cool to see if it gets going.
  23. Those look really nice. How often are you making stuff? It always seems like you have something new.
  24. Hey guys as I'm preparing for next week I was looking at this stuff again and just wanted to say thanks. I think on Wednesday I'll be ready for the first of the three. bassdocktor
