  1. Decided to take advantage of a 60 degree day. Went to a local farm pond. Caught seven fish, all small but still somewhat fun to catch. Caught 1 on a Zorro Spinnerbait-Blue/Black-1/2 oz., 1 on Strike King Pro Model Crankbait-Bleeding Shad, 1 on Jig X-Black/Blue-1/2 oz. jig, 2 on Blue/Black-Enticer Jig-1/2 oz., and the last two on Booyah Finesse Jig-5/16 oz.-Red/Black with Red/Black trailer. Here is a couple pics: Overall, good day even though it was little fish. Conclusion: blue/black worked really well in this pond.
  2. The terminal box is a must have. I've seen multiple pros with this box and my friend also has it. We both love it, i'm even considering another one.
  3. I save all mine and put them on top of this book shelf that i have all my fishing stuff on in chronological order. and if i find a really important article that i know i need to save i scan it, print it, and put it in a binder. so i can easily flip to and important article.
  4. Well i know its not extremely informative but Fishing on the Edge by Michael Iconelli was a really good book. Theres parts where he takes a break from his biography and talks about some fishing tactics but overall it was a good read for any avid bass fisherman who really follows the elite series.
  5. The internet was decent but the espn was typical interview crap. wanted to see more on the water action. you couldn't get on the water online which was not cool at all either.
  6. crab! hey i remember you from the reel grip forums. i posted a couple things over there. haha what a coincidence.
  7. Me and my friend went there at the end of march beginning of april and we fished two days and caught about 20-30 fish and two 4 pounders. we mainly threw medium to shallow running crankbaits around docks and while doing that we saw the occasional schooling shad on the water surface and got a couple out of those. i think i've caught everything there on crankbaits. most came on a bleeding strike king about 3-6 ft (estimate) diving crankbait. and the other on a rapala redish rat-l-trap. other wise pretty fun. not sure if we're goin again this year but we may.
  8. i have four of them and i like them very much. very reliable.
  9. Rat-L-trap, strike king, and got some bps ones lately and have caught one on that so far.
  10. My Uncle lives in Winter Haven and owns some cattle. I have a little secret spot over there with the clearest water you've ever seen. He says its fed by a spring or something like that. It's heaven, i wish i was there now.
  11. Well i can tell you w/o even looking at stuff on how it is...horrible. We're in an enormous drought and Falls has been hit the hardest.
  12. I go down there to see my grandmother and theres not too many places that you can really find. I think you'll have to do some research to find a place to fish.
  13. I live in Cary. Theres definently a ton of places going up around here. I've lived here all my life and it use to be just woods around me now I have houses behind me, to my right, and now a ton are going up basically in my front yard. It should'nt be too hard to find a house around here. I can't remember the who's building it but the houses right in front of me are going up as I type. From here Harris is about 20 minutes away, Jordan is about 15 minutes away. I think but their both really close. If you need any help just gimmie a shout and I'll see what i can find out for you.
