  2. isnt ultra soft more for spinning gear.
  3. yea that is the brand im leaning toward heard lots of good things about the line.
  4. I am trying a new line and am open for ideas ive been using mono tied to superline. I want another line that isnt a type of braid. What do you think is best flouro, mono, copolymer etc... and what brands. I will be putting it on a baitcaster.
  5. its a different reel then the one you showed a pic of before tho.
  6. i want one no word on when they come out. I was going to get a revo stx but i guess ill wait and check these out
  7. i will say tho it all depends on the reel itself there is huge differences in the expensive baitcasters and the $60 ones so it depends. i will choose spinning over a low budget bc anyday.
  8. backlashes are usually lack of experience in casting reels. i can cast much furher with my casting and more accurate to. i also get less noise when it hits the water because you cast more up in the air with a baitcaster. i always have both tho. but i prefer the baitcaster much more comfortable and smoother and you dont have to open the reel everytime to cast
  9. spinning reels spin some lures baitcasters dont and you get better accuracy with your casts with a baitcaster.
  10. im not a fan of swivels anymore. it takes less then 2 minutes to tie the line and the benefits are worth it. nothings worse then your knot staying tied to the swivel and you lose the fish because your swivel broke. take the extra time and land more fish
  11. just went to bps and checked out the combo. i was not pleased i ended up getting a extreme rod and reel. for $30 more its a much better combo
  12. yea its the midas gold dont know about the rod
