  1. Palmolive and elbow grease works fine for me. Never had an issue with Simple Green, works great as a final wipe down to get oily finger prints off.
  2. Roboworms, Zoom Finesse Worms, Gulp! Alive Minnows and Leeches. Bite Me! shaky heads and the Strike King football shaky heads work well adn should be easy to find.
  3. I must be weird, I fish tournaments for fun and relaxation. When you win, the money is nice, too. Though it's more about the competition and sportsmanship. Wouldn't know about the bites I didn't know about, but missing the bites I did know about kind of sucks. But, it's incentive to pay better attention.
  4. Clear your cache, and restart FF.
  5. I personally like a specific rod for a very narrow definition of each of those techniques. For now, your current ML will work fine, until you outgrow it, or develop a preference for something different. Save your $$$ for some 6-8# fluorocarbon, hooks, weights, plastics, and jigs.
  6. No, he hates hugs.
  7. Which one is supposed to be Tina?
  8. There guys that look at the tip of their rod to "feel" the bite by seeing the tip shake. These guys like braid, and soft tip actions. Others can feel the bump in their hands, or see the bow in the line hop. Those guys like stout rods and fluoro. These are generalizations, but after a couple years teaching fishing, you pick up on these differences. You pick the gear that suits your style.
  9. It should be right below the text box. Try reloading the page.
  10. No, that's a slacker jazz beat band from the 90s, LOL. You might know the song "Circles." That had popular radio play.
  11. Or right click the image, and choose "Copy image location" and past in image box "URL". Forum does the rest. You even see the image in the reply box. Pretty cool.
  12. Lucky Craft Rick Clunn, MS Mini Slammer, Sub Warts all work great. While speed is sometimes important, I don't find buring them critical to your success with them. Rod angle plays a bigger part in how deep they run as well. With a moderate to fast retrieve, I use a tip up, and drop it as the bait gets closer to the boat.
  13. Just click the "Image" button at the top, and paste the link. The forum will do all the code for you. Trying to upload without a PC.
  14. They are green, and oh bye the way CHEAPER than petroleum based solvents. Let's not even get into the disposal of those solvents.
  15. I think Gary has ham hands. Or at least, too much time on his hands. But seriously, interesting post. Doesn't change what rods I'm going to use. Just have someone put the rod tip to their voice box and hum. If you can feel it, it's plenty sensitive.
  16. Yeah, that's really gross, especially after handling that sparkly clean money, LOL.
  17. Yep, twice a day!
  18. I can barely make it through the original post, let alone read all the ones after that, LOL.
  19. You're a mushroom?
  20. Either that, or he lost the little spring that keeps pressure on the one way pack when AR is turned on.
  21. I've actually noticed some vartiability in this department....needless to say, I have a preferred bottle that I reuse the nozzle off. You want to look for the ridged cap
  22. So you reduced your chances of failure by 50%, LOL. It only takes ONE knot to fail. Anyway, only my Zillions have a ton of "reserve line" that I use a backer on. The rest of my reels, I fill up pretty much with what I'll be using since they only hold 90 yards or so line in the shallow spools.
