Arky Jigs What are they?
The bottom has caught many.

Alleghany Res - Memorial Day Weekend
Not sure what "beverage control" means. Elaborate? I can't find anything about this either. I know two reservation townships were relocated to Upstate (Thanks PBS, lol), but I don't anything about restricted water.

Arky Jigs What are they?
Their pro jigs are $3.49. I wouldn't consider those Rattle Bands. Thin skirts, rubber band, poor hooks.... Also, the site lists them at $2.15. Jigs are still fairly inexpensive, and I rarely lose them. Here's the difference:

Arky Jigs What are they?
Arkie brand "arky" style jigs are $3.49. For $4.00 you can get a hand made, wire tied jig from Siebert Outdoors, run by member and sponsor Mike Siebert. Other than a few jigs, I get all mine from him. Before anyone asks...yes, I pay retail.

Successful weekend coyote calling
Did you have to have a nerve conduction study?

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
I have a DX 744 that is great at pitching into medium cover.

What would you do with this setup?
That'll cover around 90% of bass fishing.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
This is it. They sponsor you and you help sell the product. Most think it's just about free tackle. It isn't.

Spinnerbait solution for wading?
That's a slob!

Uneven line
Let me get this straight, it's the line that's bumpy? Just kidding. It's possible that the mono was exposed to heat or something. I wouldn't worry to much, but I'd do some break tests. KVD L&L Conditioner will likely help it, too.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
Why on earth would you show a spinnerbait, and say it's a chatterbait? It's poor or sloppy reporting.
-
Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
There are SEVERAL errors in the captions. One picture doesn't even show the right type of bait mentioned.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
Oi, YouTubers ruined everything! It's even altered the landscape of endorsement deals for musicians. I even hear them say, "I'm endorsed by so-and-so..." No, bud. You endorse them, lol. Skateboarding is even been affected. Turning "pro" is not the same anymore.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
Depends on the contract. When I was sponsored by Wilderness Systems, I was encouraged to get seat time in other companies' boats. Bonus points if you did a boat swap. That way, you got more hands on exposure to the brand, and learned how to differentiate your sponsor from others.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
That's probably the most reasonable explanation. Didn't think of that!

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
This *IS* pretty obvious, though I see two other rigs in the background with jigs tied up. Maybe those were the Batwingsz and he just grabbed the wrong rig? It's also possible that he didn't write the quote.

I tell y'all what!
There's plenty of craggy rocks and fallen timber in the ditches I fish. If one breaks off, so what, there 10,000 more to hook. I already said I used 15-20# fluoro or braid for jigs. Try and keep pace with the conversation. My comment was about STRETCH, and that it's not necessarily a bad thing. I doubt there are any DD bass in Canada, or NY for that matter.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
I had to follow Pete Gluzik at a fishing seminar in NYC several years back. It was just after his big open win on Cayuga Lake. He was talking about throwing senkos being key to his win. We all laughed and said, at least he actually admitted to throwing senkos all day.

Pros purposefully misleading about their sponsors baits?
I could care less what specific bait a pro is using, and pay more attention to what they're doing with the bait.

We actually rely heavily on stretchy line for really big fish, with more fight than any bass, small or large jaw. Cute little salmon I caught on 8# Suffix Siege:

Why are kayaks a thing?
The Mirage Drive actually works well in pads. It sweeps the pads aside, rather getting them wrapped up in a prop. You can feel them, and there is some Resistance, but I rarely get stuck. Slop, that's another story. The Mirage Drive can also go shallower than prop drives, without pulling the drive, since the fins can rest snug to the hull. Here's mine in inches of water, drive deployed:

Not sure I'll have time to get away in DC. I'm going there to see Jawbox reunion show. The drummer, Zach, is a good friend.

Spinnerbait solution for wading?
1/2 oz. baits work great in creeks.

Based on all the fish I caught using Trilene XL all those years, I agree. I actually thought I was "high brow" using XL over Big Game, lol.
