  1. The fastest airboats get around 55 mph. Most go around 35. The only way for one to keep up with a jet ski or moderately equipped bass boat would be on a trailer, towed on the highway.
  2. That actually sounds reasonable.
  3. No, I didn't participate.
  4. Yeah, but it has that UV color fish can't resist.
  5. Office decoration contest winner:
  6. Marketing. Congrats on the combo. My buddy has that same rod, and it fishes well.
  7. Clark got a puck that went over the glass.
  8. Expensive Jika rig is all it is. I make my own Jika Punch Rigs from trolling weights:
  9. There are clamp on versions. Keep searching.
  10. The tapers are very similar. The M can handle heavier baits is the only difference.
  11. Fussy, complicated, expensive, and I'm not sure what this rig solves.
  12. You can du0olicate that issue shown above with any brand unit. as mentioned, depth setting is too deep. User error. Good luck with your new units. If you need help, stop by here and ask. There's a lot more support for the user experience side on our forums. These newer units are more complex, and take a bit of time to learn. They aren't a set it and forget it deal.
  13. We might hit 60 today. Next week, we're probably gonna get a couple feet of snow.
  14. I have two each St. Croix AVS63MLXF and AVS63MXF, all saddled with either 2500 or 3000 series Stradic CI4. They're all spooled with 6# Tatsu. I upgraded the drags to dry Carbontex. They perform flawlessly.
  15. TourneyX developers do a good job. I use their app, too. They're pretty much thew only show in town when it comes to kayak tournaments.
  16. So, you were so compelled to create an account, in order to make your first post about getting a lemon. Exchange the lempon, put up a post in the introductions category, and move on with your life.
  17. That might be because $20 isn't enough. I fish team tournaments, and costs are split 50/50. That generally means around $75 - $150.
  18. Check your local laws. You'd be better off keeping a sunfish, though. They can actually be housed in aquariums that aren't unreasonably huge. I had some in a 75 gal. They're messy, so invest in a nice water exchanger. You'll be doing 20-40% water changes once a week.
  19. Is google down, lol. A quick search brought me this: https://www.amazon.com/Booms-Fishing-Spooler-Adjustable-Varying-x/dp/B01FYRD8UM/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1545943914&sr=8-8&keywords=kastking+line+spooler
  20. There's details here: Also: http://www.ultimateniti.com/NiTi_SMA_TECH/Material_Characteristics/Ultimate_SmartLink_Lure_System_Story/
  21. Daiwa Zaion, Shimano CI4, materials are not metal. They are carbon based. I believe Abu uses magnesium.
  22. That's been done. There are split rings you can buy that will bend out if you pull hard enough.
  23. The highest of high end reels aren't usually made from aluminum. Neither are the lowest of the low end. Makes you think.
  24. I feel like the rattle thing has been done. Maybe not.
