"Plopping" Topwaters
I feel like it would be the other way around. There are waters where you won't get a WP back clean, but a buzzbait will get through. Here's my friend with a buzzbait fish. Look at the background. The fish were deep in that flooded timber. Good luck with any treble hooked bait.

Spinner Bait Popularity
Glenn (site founder) uses stuff called Lumaflex. I have a couple of bunny strip spinnerbaits, though I generally use them for northern pike fishing.

One of the best stocked DSG is right across the street from a Field & Stream, lol.

Counterfeit Seaguar Invizix?
Finally dug mine out. My 1000 yd. spool looks just like yours. They sent it to me to test and respond to the new spooling machine.

Re-powering the Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass Boat
There's quite a few Bullets up this way. Keep in mind, there's 20 lakes an hour and a half drive from to access as well. Mine is definitely not the fastest. It was the fastest in my club, though. It was pretty funny when I'd draw last on a bigger lake, like Cayuga, and pass everyone on the way to a spot. My favorite thing about that boat though ,was the huge front deck. My co-anglers could easily fish up front with me, which I think was a bigger advantage than speed. Anyway, we're going off topic, this all about A-Jay's tin can! ?

Curado DC vs. Curado K vs. Tranx 200?
The K and DC would be fine with that line and 1 oz. baits. I don't use any special gear when I go for northerns. MH and H bass gear works fine. If you want a bigger reel, then get the Tranx. Sounds like that is what you're heart is set on. It's not that much bulkier than the other two.

Check out Mike's Cosmic Spinnerbaits. High quality like the old WE's and you can get wire tied skirts. https://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Spinner-Blade-Baits_c9.htm

Nice one! I hear stuff like that, and I miss my old DW Collectors. Gotta remember that I have my Masterworks waiting for me at home. I give that 9/10. Guitarists improv skills are tight. The pig is killer! Here's a snotty 12/8 rocker we're still working on. Sorry in advance for the OOF.

weight of lead baits
I generally start at 1/2 oz. and work up from there, with jigs. If I want to go lighter, it's a different bait, like a wacky jig or shaky head worm. Same with spinnerbaits, it's almost always a 1/2 oz. bait. Just like @Logan S mentioned, various blades carry the bait differently. I have a couple 3/4 oz. spinnerbaits, in case I feel like I want more speed, but maintain depth. As @Paul Roberts mentioned, I'm always choosing what setups I bring on a kayak trip based on where I'm fishing. I keep it to six or less, and pick setups that match the cover and presentations I'll likely want to fish. That could mean 4 drop shot rods, and a football jig rod, or six completely different combos. Living in western NY affords me some really diverse waters to fish.

I get that. The goal is to bring a new generation into the jazz loop. Both drummer and pianist are established, legit jazz players. As a drummer myself, I find the beat fascinating. The drummer is working on a whole other grid, timekeeping wise, while still maintaining a stead 4/4 pulse. You posted a really good one, I give it a 9. Some Coltrane for you jazz loving folks. Get Modal!

Is 2 pound fluorocarbon too light for trout?
If you actually want to fish with 2#, take a close look at IGFA line class records. There's a few out there ripe for picking off. My friend holds a couple for walleye and trout. You'll have to register and use approved lines, though.

Curado DC vs. Curado K vs. Tranx 200?
I don't NOT recommend the K. I was referring line capacity for large diameter lines, like 25# mono. As long as your not trying to bomb a crankbait or swimbait a mile, you'll be fine with either lines. The K is a very good reel. Since I'd had chance to cast a DC model, that would be my preference.

Santee Cooper- Late February
Yes there is! One of the biggest fish we caught last time we were there was in that little pond right off the canal. The people at Blacks are the best. Watch out for stumps!

Outboard selection 17' Old Town Sq. back
I don't recall ever running my TM batteries all the down in a long day of fishing. You can always run two batteries in parallel for twice the life.

I'd be getting an electric trolling motor, not gas.

Fish Finders- What am I missing
I fish vertically for bass all the time. I set my graph up so I can see my bait on the screen. Then it's just video game fishing. It's really about the only way to fish deeper than 15-20 FOW. You can do this with jigs, drop shot plastics, spoons, and blade baits as well.

Is 2 pound fluorocarbon too light for trout?
Depends on how big the trout are. It's way too light for the trout I fish for. If they're just little stockies, then it should be fine. This fish I used 6# Invisx.

Clear Water Colors
Blue or blue accented baits have been a staple on the Great Lakes for years.

Inline Spinner
Rooster tails have to be burned to get the spin on. Panther Martins are the best at slow rolling.

Curado DC vs. Curado K vs. Tranx 200?
Unless you're planning on using big swimbaits and very heavy line, the K or DC will be fine. My preference would be for the DC.
