Hate PWC's? Well, this might change your mind.
The fastest airboats get around 55 mph. Most go around 35. The only way for one to keep up with a jet ski or moderately equipped bass boat would be on a trailer, towed on the highway.

That actually sounds reasonable.

The tapers are very similar. The M can handle heavier baits is the only difference.

Fussy, complicated, expensive, and I'm not sure what this rig solves.

Lowrance or Humminbird
You can du0olicate that issue shown above with any brand unit. as mentioned, depth setting is too deep. User error. Good luck with your new units. If you need help, stop by here and ask. There's a lot more support for the user experience side on our forums. These newer units are more complex, and take a bit of time to learn. They aren't a set it and forget it deal.

I have two each St. Croix AVS63MLXF and AVS63MXF, all saddled with either 2500 or 3000 series Stradic CI4. They're all spooled with 6# Tatsu. I upgraded the drags to dry Carbontex. They perform flawlessly.

TourneyX developers do a good job. I use their app, too. They're pretty much thew only show in town when it comes to kayak tournaments.

Bass as Pets.
Check your local laws. You'd be better off keeping a sunfish, though. They can actually be housed in aquariums that aren't unreasonably huge. I had some in a 75 gal. They're messy, so invest in a nice water exchanger. You'll be doing 20-40% water changes once a week.

Daiwa Zaion, Shimano CI4, materials are not metal. They are carbon based. I believe Abu uses magnesium.

The highest of high end reels aren't usually made from aluminum. Neither are the lowest of the low end. Makes you think.
