  1. Straight [any line] people unite!!!! Down with leaders!!!
  2. I like the pen case on that. Looks good.
  3. Warranty implies defect. Replacement policy is a little more clear. My Maui Jim's can be replaced any time for $75, no questions asked.
  4. I hit myself in the thigh once. Once.
  5. All it does is add wear and tear on the drag. The system literally protects from wear on the gears
  6. Almost parallel to the stone. There's got to be a video out there on this. I learned from an article in In-Fisherman like 40 years ago.
  7. I use the exact same one. I only use the groove for a few passes to clean up the point at the end.
  8. I can confirm, lol.
  9. I'd argue braid is a detriment to most drop shotting. I present my contrasting argument for it here. Sometimes you have to go against your preferences. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html
  10. It's not a regional dialect issue, but more of misappropriation of common terminology that's been around for decades by young social media influencers. See flipping, cover, structure, squarebills, Texas rigs, etc. It's all over the place now. Google isn't the source of record for info, rather it reflects trends, whether right or wrong, in terminology usage on the internet. It's not a hill I'll die on, but I will offer the proper terms when incorrectly used. What the reader does with that is up to them and out of my control.
  11. I'll post it.
  12. We had a little bit of snow last night. Nothing stuck though.
  13. A double uni is a uni knot with the line doubled up. What we're talking about in this thread is a back to back uni or uni to uni connection knot. It's important to get the terminology right. I used a uni to uni connection for years with great results until they started failing. I couldn't really put my finger on why, so I started using a triple surgeon's knot on light line and then learned the Crazy Alberto and never looked back. YMMV.
  14. I had the same boat, but with a ProMax 2.5 l. I got 84.7 with a buddy's prop. That thing must move!
  15. Sorry to hear it, Tommy. When my atlas (C1) is out of alignment, it throws my C2-4 out as well and manifests as nerve pain/numbness in my hands and arms. Visits to the Chiro on a regular basis help a lot. I hope you find some relief soon my friend.
  16. When YouTube was invented.
  17. Almond milk is good on Honey Nut Cheerios, not in coffee. When exactly did you start hating puppies?
  18. Unless it's iced coffee. But in that case it better be an iced Americano.
  19. Misdefined terms to add: Structure: "There is no structure, it's just flat bowl." No, that is the structure. Texas Rig: rigging a bait weedless. No, a T-Rig has a sliding sinker and a weedless bait. Weedless Wacky Rig: No, Wacky Hook with a weed/brush guard. Weed Guards on jigs: No, that's a brush guard. Pretty much useless in weeds if fished incorrectly. There's more, but I'll stop there.
  20. My machine makes a whole pot in under 3 minutes and it tastes great. I've had cold brew and it's good, but different.
  21. I've literally done this to non boaters as a prank. The reactions are awesome.
  22. Gamma makes a good line, so does gampa (j/k). My experience with most copoly lines is frequent use of KVD L&L is the way. I shoot all my reels with after every trip. It works best if it's allowed to dry.
  23. What's left? For me, with the exception of big swim baits (20/25# CXX), braid and fluoro are the only options. That leaves mono and copoly. There's also fluoro coated lines and fused microfiber lines as well. The latter might be a good choice on a large spinning reel like yours. So would YZH as recommended above.
