  1. Cast King cleaned house!
  2. You guys seem to think a shaky head hook is like 10/0 circle hook, lol.
  3. Olive oil would probably work ok on the worm gear, lol. I'd want some bread, to dip, though.
  4. As long as their rated for the weight of the boat you should be good.
  5. Spinnerbaits, general plastics, jigs and swimbaits are CXX territory for me. Drop shot, deep cranking, finesse, clear water are fluoro territory.
  6. Lol, I started working at 11, and haven't stopped, save for the 4 months I was unemployed last year.
  7. Most guys use quite a bit more weight on a DS than you think. I start at 1/2 oz. that doesn't mean I want a meat stick for DS. It's still ML, but can handle that sinker. I've never used the NRX, but that is how the GLX version was.
  8. Think you ned some basics here. http://www.batterystuff.com/kb/articles/battery-articles/battery-basics.html A 2 amp will charge any battery that matches the type and voltage, but if it's a large capicity, it might take a while. I use a 1.5 amp charger for a 7 ah battery in my kayaks. The bass boat has a three bank, 10-10-10 amp charger - one 10 amp bank for each of the three batteries.
  9. Pretty sure he's referring to car topping...
  10. Like I said, it's all good until it isn't. What happens when someone with a Quantum reel reads your post, and decides you know better, and uses 301? Do the plastic cages melt or do they hold up to the solvent? There's no purpose to using the solvent and oil mixture when cleaning a reel. Use a degreaser, wash and rinse thoroughly, dry , and THEN lubricate. The shortcut may work in your specific situation, but its bad advice.
  11. I use a Leverage net, regardless of kayak, boat, or shore.
  12. You'll be fine in that boat.
  13. Actually, this jig works in reverse. The head is tungsten and rubber, which is lower in density than lead. Also, I've never equated lthe relative pliability of lead as "deadened." If it feels dead to you, your rod needs upgrading!
  14. 301 has solvent, it's all good until it isn't. Use at your own risk.
  15. DIY is not for the faint of heart.
  16. I've seen mails bite the females in the tail. I suspect it's after the deed is complete, some males are more aggressive than others.
  17. No TSI301 whatsoever in reels. You want to use TSI321. Personally, Shimano Bantam oil works great in 90% of all applications and is pretty easy to come by.
  18. Set your drag to 1/3 of the break stregnth (not "test") and as long as your line isn't nicked and the knot is sound, you won' break off any bass.
  19. I don't put bass on a plate.
  20. Brighter than most anything else I've seen for this purpose. There's a reason it's standard equipment in many models' angler package.
  21. I use a YakAttack VisiCarbon Pro light.
  22. Coltrane Newport '63. Awesome.
  23. An idol brought Greg Brady bad luck.
  24. There's 50,000 members. If you look at a topic, maybe a dozen or so replied. But look at the views. For every one member that posts, many, many, more just read the posts.
  25. Sure more would lighten the load, but really we have one or two on at all times. It's more about time frame coverage than numbers.
