Probably not - the cap is designed to "breath." Oil expands once the motor reaches operating temps. If you over fill the reservoir, it's gonna leak. I kept mine around halfway. Notice the stain on the inside of yours? The previous owner did that too. I don't think I ever approached using 1/2 a tank of oil in a days boating.

I think it's actually around 45-46". I still wouldn't deck it. It always feels like I'm a lot higher off the water in a decked jon than in my bass boat.

I have the same motor on my Xpress. 1. Don't overfill your oil reservoir - 1/2 is plenty. 2. Wipe it off with a rag to get the big goobers, then a rag soaked with some degreaser (Perfect Solution, 409, Simple Green) should get the rest. Finish with a damp rag.

I have a black one, a white one, and a silver one. Pretty sure they're all 3/8 oz.

Connie and Killer are nice people. Their video is a good starting place, but it's Shimano-centric. WD-40? Oh god....I'm sorry, man. That's not the norm amongst the reel techs I know.

The name "Abu" is quite odd and funny to say to an outsider. "Quantum" sounds erudite and space age.

When want a worm, I generally go with the big Anaconda or Recon worm.

Personally, I like the jons that do not have decks, but are nicely carpeted, with flat floors, and have sensible seating.

Don't feed them for a few days. They'll eat anything. It also helps if there is a target species in the tank that takes pellets.
