Do Any Of You Put You're Other Hobbies On The Backburner For Fishing ?
Some yes, some never. I'll never give up making music. I'll fish and make music until I die.

Bacon Or Cheese
Technically, there would be no other foods. It's bacon or cheese for the rest of your life. Bacon is the only answer.

There's a ton of stuff not directly available in the US. Here's a start: http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/default.php- Reel Problem
Braid?- Water Too Murky For Soft Plastics?
I actually find that plastics and jigs excel in murkier water. Dark colors, action tails, and jig rattles all have their place. Remember, these fish are tuned into feeding on things they may not be able to see. Get some of the cues that your bait is food right, where there are fish, and you'll get bit.- Hook And Look - Have You Seen This Series
I don't know. A good show should be able to sell ad time during the breaks without resorting to constant product placement and mentions within the show's main content. I can take a plug here and there, but sometimes it's a little too much. Lunkerville mostly avoids this pitfall, as does Spanish Fly and Hunt for big fish. Hook and Look is interesting, sometimes. I liked the episode where they were diving in the slop.- I Need Opinions On A Gps/fishfinder Combo
You're over reacting. Wayne has a great deal of product knowledge in regards to Sonar/GPS units, and is trying to help you best by getting to the specifics. Nobody is trying to make you sound ignorant.- Hook And Look - Have You Seen This Series
Trust me, I'm from the north, and since the water is clear, we're not really seeing anything new, just from a different perspective..Not much new, though I am sure it's easy to film. Smallies on beds is boring. I'd like to see them dive with smallies in 40' of water in October, when they congregate in the wintering holes.- Pegged Or Unpegged
It gives the bait a different action. The weight slides up the line, with bait slowly following. Different deal than pegged, though it's more about YOU knowing what your bait is doing. Plus, you can clear any weeds with a quick tip shake. One thing, some baits - cough-cough, senkos - do weird things on the fall when pegged with a very light weight. Try it and watch.- Super Cold Water Strategy
This. #3 really hits home hard as well. Clayton has been banging good fish, but he's logged some serious hours. 6 bass total, though two good smallies. Hard work pays off sometimes.- My Beginner's Guide To Bass Fishing - Check It Out!
I'd just summarize the best points you want to make, and leave it at that. Or, describe your list, and encourage the reader to make their own. Remember, the article stands on it's own, separate for the forum and the web.- My Beginner's Guide To Bass Fishing - Check It Out!
Here are two I've written, to give you an idea of length and format: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/fishing-with-friends.html- My Beginner's Guide To Bass Fishing - Check It Out!
I'm telling you man, some fresh input from your perspective would be great.- Allright Fellow New Yorker's.......
5-1 is the kayak's best smallie. 6-8 is it's best largie. Bar is set.- Pegged Or Unpegged
I like the rubber t-sticks. They seem to work the best.- Show your ride...
Lake Lanier....man, that must be fun though. The only lakes I make big runs to are Erie, Champ, and Keuka. Even then, it's not a run and gun. I generally have a couple spots and I stick on the one that's working. Oneida is an exception. I can blow through a tank in a half day running. Problem, I have too many spots that are "timing" keyed. So, they may not be far, but I'll be rotating on them constantly.- Allright Fellow New Yorker's.......

Gotcha. Chances are you know a technical writer. You definitely have some resources there. Just saying, it might take an hour or two to put something together.- My Beginner's Guide To Bass Fishing - Check It Out!

I agree with senile1. A beginner's perspective - especially the details they found useful to advancing their skills - is just what other beginners want to hear.- Pegged Or Unpegged
I go unpegged, especially in most weeds, UNLESS: punching thick mats, or fishing wood cover or docks. - Kishida Hooks?????
