Speed Spool Worm Shaft Coming Loose?
Next time get a Daiwa! Just kidding. Let's try to stick the original topic guys, and see if we can't help a guy out with his reel. I'm inclined to think that if something is really wrong, it's under warranty, and should be fixed or replaced by Lew's.

To lose weight. The Core is a *light* reel.

Heavy Power Rod To Much For Smallmouth?
Cover would be another consideration. I caught this fish using a 1 oz. t-rig and a XH flipping stick. Smallies were in shallow weeds on that particular day.

Need Help Trying To Choose Dedicated Shimano Swimbait Reel
I think a Calcutta 200B would serve you well. Add a Carbontex drag, and flush the bearings. Really want to add some useful bling, order a handle for a Curado E. It's longer and a bit smoother due to bearings:

Not sure, I think it was a 12L I was looking at - maybe like 30" tall? It's a great conversation piece, LOL.- Ahhh...the Joys Of Living In The Country.
The giant wine bottle is key! I almost bought one for a dinner party. Thought it'd be a great "challenge."- Do You Spank Your Kid(S)?
Spanking doesn't have to be abuse. It didn't work on my older son at all. My youngest responds to a slight tap on his butt with total humiliation and regret. I don't think one thing works on all kids.- Curado 50E Makes Squeaking Noise
Well, hit the stuff on that page first. Then if it still squeaks, look at that stuff.- Where Are The Bearings? Curado G
Even then, the E has only one bearing in the knob. The posts themselves have a built in bush at the bottom. I like the Daiwa arrangement with two bearings in the knobs, although that poses an added corrosion risk. I see that a lot with unmaintained reels.- Curado 50E Makes Squeaking Noise
