  1. I'm dealing directly with a claims adjuster and claim specialist from the other driver's insurance. They are paying for all repairs in full, including the $600 in towing fees I've racked up. Not cheap to flatbed a boat, lol.
  2. There is no such thing as a "no fault" collision. "No fault" insurance is for uninsured motorists, and is included in everybody's premiums. If an officer writes it up as "no fault," you run into major issues making a claim. Ask me how I know this. This has nothing to do with my agency - it's the other driver's insurance company that is responsible for repairs. There's nothing to ask for. I wouldn't know what I might be losing or winning anyway - unless someone knows how to predict the future.
  3. Spinnerbaits work from spring to fall. Skirt color doesn't seem to matter as much as blade shape and arrangement. I carry around 40 spinnerbaits, with different colors and blade combinations. You have to experiment with color/blades and retrieve.
  4. It's a HUGE stretch. I'm just a small club/open tourney angler. You can do a search here, using "FCS" as a search string and find some of my tournament reports. I've never made money at it, just street cred, heh.
  5. How would I add that to the claim? I can't claim "potential winnings"??
  6. Sammy 115, Pointer 100sp, CBD20 are three that I regularly throw.
  7. Jigs will do that to you. But you can't have enough.
  8. Heh, touché.
  9. Gonna be at least a week for a new axle to come in. Gonna miss opening day tournaments.
  10. They were also owned by Brunswick for decades. Brunswick makes bowling balls.
  11. I do not, but I do "exercise" the drags before fishing. For winter storage, I loosen them.
  12. LOL, and Zebco made timebombs for the oil industry.
  13. Because I ship hundreds of packages all over the US. Read carefully, my statement was, "unless he is next door," which turned out to literally be true seeing as he is 6 hours away from the factory. Just what fraction of Bass Resource membership is 6 hours away from the Saint Croix factory? While not a false claim, it isn't a reasonable assumption for the rest of us. Make sense? Congrats on your dealing with Quantum. Do you think that you would be able to ship the reel, and get it back from them just as fast? That was the claim.
  14. Awe dude, that sucks. As a guy who's boat is currently out of commission, I feel for you.
  15. Sam, the only difference is I use a tempura, one egg, one cup flour, and instead of water, sub about 2/3 beer.
  16. I generally have an open seat many weekends. Heck, you come up with half the entry fee, I'll find an open to fish, I'd you want to do a tx.
  17. Try deep fried Skittles, heh.
  18. I take guys I've never met out all the time, including some members here.
  19. Now, see...I've dealt with Dan, and he's fine. Not the super fake friendly type. He's handled my stuff in the past - no problems. Most recently handling the repair of a demo rod that was 12 years old. Unless you live next door to the factory, no way you're getting a rod in less than 5 days. You're backpedaling from less than 5 business days to 10. I agree, their service is good. But send a rod in on Monday and get an upgrade on Friday good? I don't think that's even possible. And Hi Selinity, NEVER leave a message. That goes for any customer service issues. It's pointless for them to even have voice mail. It's too easy for them to delete/ignore the problem and blame technology.
  20. I sent a rod in for repair. Probably took about 10-11 days total turnaround. About what I expected. No way in less than 5 days, even if it's for a replacement.
  21. At least our state flower isn't a satellite dish! Just kidding, man.
  22. Pirates, Indians, and Phillies are all closer than the Yankees. This guy was from the west coast, just sayin'.
  23. That's exactly what I do.
  24. Sam, I am well known for my themed Super Bowl parties. One year the theme was, "If beer batter sticks to it, we can deep fry it." Snickers are good. Butterfingers are better. Snack size is the way to go. One thing that really surprised me was fried pear slices. I serve it to guests as dessert with ice cream. It rivals homemade apple pie.

    Awesome. Yes, way too soon!
