  1. One word: photobucket.com.
  2. It's a female blue gill, not a crappie, and definitely not named Bob.
  3. 4000 series reel, and 40-50# braid will be fine. I know quite a few people throwing frogs with this type of rig as well.
  4. That looks like Sally.
  5. I've touted this for years, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Good point!
  6. Hopefully that butt ugly, Camry with a thyroid problem gets a makeover by then. That, and a bigger gas tank.
  7. I think I paid $15 for my cull tags. No reason to try to DIY something so inexpensive.
  8. I see tons of guys burn up their V6 toy trucks and SUVs towing full size bass boats all the time. Yeah they work, but if you doing any distance, you're ruining your truck. If you are at all concerned about gas mileage, cost per mile is lower as you go bigger, to a point. My 1/2 ton with the 6.2 gas engine, and towing gears gets 22 mpg cruising, and 14-17 towing. The 3/4 ton diesel is a little too pricey for my daily driving needs, but if I towed 24/7 it would be the better choice. Down the line, GM is supposed to be coming out with a diesel six for the 1/2 ton platform. There's your bass boat tow vehicle.
  9. The fish pictured at the end of this article came from inches of water: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html
  10. If someone gets too close, I just start wailing about how bad it burns when I pee.
  11. I'm 90% positive they are interchangeable.
  12. She needs to visit the local chamber of commerce. They'll get her pointed in the right direction.
  13. I took an ounce and a half bullet weight to the side of the head. I still twitch at the sight of tungsten.
  14. Nope, it's our honor to have you.
  15. Thanks. I really like that rod. Wish it said St. Croix on it, LOL. Here it is getting abused:
  16. I find "lost" tackle all the time. It literally pays to keep your eyes peeled.
  17. Here's your rod: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/pinnacle-DHC5-performa-review.html
  18. Whenever starting any business there are two people that you should have lined up: a lawyer and an accountant.
  19. Taco Bell............
  20. I've got two on the way, and I think some of the same advice helped me out too.
  21. Thanks, he actually passed in 2010. I wrote the article, and kind of sat on it for a while.
  22. Deep, read my post. THREE YEARS. That's a cheap spool of quality line, if you look at it that way. Consider too, that is my PRIMARY drop shot rig. Yes, it's been miserably twisted after a long days. Yes, I've caught my personal best smallie, and many others, on that spool of line. Hundreds and hundreds of hours spent fishing that line. Yes, the spool is getting low, but not enough that I'm worried yet. $17 for three years worth of line!
  23. Glad to have you here!
