  1. Thank's for the concern Muddy!!! We're all fine. Still without power (except for the generator) but we're hangin in there. Hookem down, And the Texan would probally definatley win! -Ike
  2. Well, We came out all right! We only had a few limbs down in our yard, and 1 small tree down, on the southeast corner. One guy's place I was watching for (He took off to North Carolina.) Lost 5 trees. 1 came with in 1 foot of hitting his house. It snapped halfway up. Another 5 feet and he'd have a tree in hos bedroom. We've been with out power since about midnight, when the storm hit. Our water came back 3 days ago. We hooked up our generator to our breaker box, so as long as we stay away from the 220s we'll be fine. I've been working 10-15 hours everyday in diferent neighborhoods, hauling and chainsawing trees for people. Thank's for all the prayers!! -Ike
  3. I'm almost exclusivley Ariat. I used to have a paid of CAT work boots but I wore them out. Wolverine is a pretty good boot. I like my Ariat ATS for workin, (they make a lace up too.) and the Ariat Cobalt for everything else. The pair of Ariats I have right I've worn almost every day for the past 5-6 months, and they're still going strong!! Tony Lama is a noce boot too. 6. If you're talking to the baseball genius, the Astros played (and lost) in the World Series in 2005. The only NL team to never make the WS is the Washington Nationals/Montreal Expos. Yep. I went to EVERY home playoff game that year (2005) except game 3 of the World Series. We lost game 4 o course but i talked to Burlehere (spelling?) and a few other pitchers from their bullpen. -Ike

  13. Like I said. EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES!!! ;D ;D ;D 'Stros in the playoffs bro! And in answer to your question: I DO know a thing or two about baseball. I played for 7 years and have been following the Astros & MLB extensivley for the past 5-6 years. I DO NOT claim to know everything about the subject. The cubs are a good team (duh ) we'll just see how the series goes. (Which I might add has been postponed.) Anyways, a playoff spot is a playoff spot, and I don't care how we get there. Remember the Marlins? Wildcard team-----WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS! Again, no disrespect intended. -Ike
